Pearland Vision Center, now part of MyEyeDr.

My name is Tasia Williams after going to the office today being very frustrated with back and forward about medical necessary contacts prior authorization approval. Kalen and Priscilla has work very hard with getting answers to help me. After talking to the necessary people I was able to leave today with my contacts and no prior authorization was needed I am happy with my outcome

My husband and I have been patients of Pearland Vision Center for years, but this was our first visit since they franchised as "MyEyeDr." It felt a little different when we walked in, but our technician was Danzalin, and she was wonderful. She did all of our intake testing (optos, eye pressure, etc.) and was kind, funny, and extremely patient. She made the new place feel as welcoming as Pearland Vision always has been. As far as the eye doctor is concerned, Dr. Mary Shatleh is consistently fantastic! She's personable, takes her time, and is incredibly thorough every visit. I appreciate how she explains what she's seeing and educates us throughout her exam in a way that's easy to understand. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients-- it shows in her attention to detail and the comfort she creates in the exam room. We feel confident in our care every time we see her! Would definitely recommend!

Danzalin and Kalen at My Eye Doctor were absolutely amazing. They warmly welcomed me as a first time patient. They are professional and accommodating. Kalen was patient with my indecisiveness in selecting a pair of frames for my glasses. Ms. Danzalin stayed a few minutes passed her shift to assist me. This was a great first time experience.

Danzalin did such a great job. She was very sweet, fun, and patient. Danzalin is very knowledgeable about the machines and what each test does. This was one of the best tech experiences I've had during an optometrist visits. Tia was very helpful and I was looking for nice frames. She was very welcoming when first coming in, patient while I was choosing frames, and understanding. Tia was knowledgeable about all of the options for frames/lenses. I appreciated visiting here today.

UPDATE: a month later I am receiving a bill for another $40!!!! I was told a price and PAID IN FULL. Steer clear of this place, never experienced this at an eye dr since we have worn glasses. Over $600 BILL. I was charged for so many things. I made it very clear that I just wanted the basic glasses with my child's prescription, what are ALL the additional add ons for that I NEVER asked for?!!!! Not happy with the cost. Dr was professional and informative. The guy that was giving the cost got frustrated, shaking his head, and raised his voice at me when I was trying to get a clear understanding of what it was I was paying for as I have not encountered this issue before. And he kept trying to add things that I specifically said I did not want. I can afford what I can afford don't try to add costs. That's one reason people don't come to get the glasses they need. However for the past 5 yrs my insurance covered the cost of glasses, here I had to pay $104 for glasses with insurance. This was an unexpected cost as it is 5 days before Xmas and they take photos that are $44 and I was not informed or given an option. there was a charge for a standard coating of $90 that I have not encountered before. It doesn't seem like a lot but again I have NEVER had to pay any additional costs for basic glasses and this is right before Xmas and I was not aware of the costs.

Such amazing staff! Especially Tia, Kalen, Stephanie, and Krystal for being beyond helpful in picking out my glasses! They are quick and so polite and professional! Dr. Shatleh is an amazing doctor and explained every step of the exam. Highly recommend this office and super helpful staff!

I had a wonderful first experience at MyEyeDr! Dr. Brown, Danzalin, and Kalen were all extremely welcoming and supportive. They engaged in informative and helpful conversations, answering all of my questions with patience and clarity. Dr. Brown took his time during the examination, explaining my eye health in detail and providing great recommendations for lens care products and procedures. I really appreciated how thorough and supportive he was throughout the visit! The entire appointment ran smoothly with no long wait time, I was seen almost immediately after arriving. Overall, I truly enjoyed my first visit and look forward to continuing my eye care journey with such a friendly and professional team!

Danzalin - I had a wonderful experience. she made me feel comfortable while assessing me before the doctor. I really appreciated the way she made me feel like I was not at the eye doctor which lowered my anxiety. I would definitely recommend others. The experience was great!
