I had a great experience at my eye appointment. I was able to get an appointment quickly, Dr. Hart listened to all of my concerns and addressed them with clear answers and a solid plan of care. The customer service was excellent from start to finish -- the front desk staff, the back office team, and the checkout ladies were all friendly, professional, and helpful. (My only down fall is that I don't remember their names for a proper shout out) I truly felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this office.

I went to the office of Ophthalmologist, Dr. Adam Hart f, for an eye exam to receive a new eyeglass prescription. Upon having eyeglasses made following that RX, (at a cost of $455.40) I was unable to see properly. I returned to the eyeglass maker and was told that the RX for those glasses was significantly different than last year's RX and glasses from the same Dr.'s office, which was genuinely concerning and should have warranted further investigation. I returned to get a corrected RX exam and took the corrected RX back to have new glasses made (at no additional charge). After waiting another two weeks, I received the new pair, which were also unsatisfactory. When I informed the Dr., he said there wasn't anything more he could do for me. I went to an optometrist and received a new exam and RX. The glasses I received from that RX were immediately correct and resolved the issue, confirming that the prior prescriptions were inaccurate. I had no problems seeing them but had at a minor fitting adjustment. I am requesting a reimbursement for the glasses and $40 office visit charge for a total of $495.40. I am not asking for any additional charge for the inconvenience of being without glasses for over a month and numerous extra trips to 3 separate offices.

Dr. Hart was prompt and the hospital staff at Smithville Hospital was also friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Everything went off without a hitch.

My wife was a current patien and we were pleased with her exam experiences. Therefore it was an automatic chose to scehdule an appointment with Dr Hart when I expereinced the need. My experience was no differnent and Dr Hart was familiar with us.
As expected the vsist went well and diagnosis completed. Referred to a Retinal Dr for further evaluation and workup.

Since you usually will not notice a change to a medical ailment immediately; in my case it was a stye, I diligently followed Dr. Adam Hart's instructions for 2 days with little improvement other than a miniscule amount of bleeding, which he forewarned was a great healing sign. He advised 2 ways to help myself: apply heat and pressure, which I did. Altho I did not bleed any more or produce mucus from the eyelid for the next 3 days, the eyelid started returning to normal color (not purple!) and swelling was reduced by 85-90%. By the 5th day, I deemed Dr. Hart's method of caring for a stye successful and expect to be told at tomorrow's appointment to continue the treatment for another week. Thanks Adam! Dr. Hart would NOT agree with the Democratic method of sticking a sharp stick in the eye to clear a vision of Trump.

Please read through the folder that the desk clerk gives you before the day of your surgery. We failed to notice, that we could've chosen different lenses, until the day of the surgery. Doc said that it was too late to choose anything other than our initial selection because they would have to order them. We were stuck with our initial selection of the standard lenses. Don't make the same mistake we did. Look at your lenses options.
