The doctor is the sweetest always has been with children and everyone. The receptionist is the complete opposite, the way she speaks to everyone who comes in the door is something I've never seen in a local business before. She is rude to adults AND KIDS. Not a family friendly business. She spoke to my child in an extremely rude manner. (My child did not say a single word in there other than what he was asked) Lynea who also works there THE SWEETEST LADY EVER very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. The lady in charge of the frames Jessica ? , RUDE. If you do not buy your glasses there she will make it known you are wasting her time and will tell you, " you buy cheap, you get cheap" but doesn't realize that the $350 pair of glasses you buy from their breaks after 3 months of having them, meanwhile I have 3 pairs of glasses from an online site that last me longer than their product. Very hard to keep your business local when employees treat you like a waste of time. Just make the 20 minute drive to Gilmer or Mt Pleasant don't waste your time.

Do NOT use this office!!! Very poor customer service and will not warranty their glasses. After 4 months, my new glasses lens became blurred with spiderweb like crazing. I returned the glasses and 3 days later I received a phone call from Dr. Spearman's office saying to come pick up my glasses that they WILL NOT replace under warranty nor did they even offer to replace lens for a price. Unbelievable!!!! The message indicated I somehow damaged and was responsible for the spiderweb grazing on the inside of the lens! Other eye care offices warranty their lens for at least one year and some for even 2 years. Glasses are very expensive so beware of this office! After thinking it thru, this office must use a very low quality product for it to only last 4 months! I wear glasses 16 hours a day, 7 days a week and if you do the same, stay away from this office and the products they sell.

I had a good experience the first time I came here, but I went a few weeks ago because I lost my glasses and Jesseka, the girl that held with frames, made me feel like I was kind of wasting her time after I told her I'd think about ordering a new pair. I couldn't use my insurance again until September of this year, so it was going to be more expensive. I went back about an hour ago and she "helped" me again. But this time she said the frames I'd had were not available in the same color. I looked but didn't see anything I liked as much. I asked her to give me a copy of my prescription again in which she replied I got one "last time" but she'd get me another. I didn't get one "last time", I did the first time I went there but I've lived since then and have misplaced it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Then I asked if the tag on the frames she gave me (same frames I had just a different color) had the style code I could use to look them up online, and she said yes then snatched them from my had and said I could not take a picture of the tag.....she said the color I wanted was on "major back order" so I probably wouldn't have luck finding them elsewhere. Glad I found them elsewhere almost an hour later. Seemed like she just didn't want to help me. I could be reading the situation wrongly, but either way, not good customer service from Jesseka. Won't be going back for that reason alone. Everyone else is lovely.

I love the energy the ladies give once to enter the building! I love the glasses I have purchased there I have no issues with any of them & I love all that I have chosen! I love saying hello to those ladies in there!

Some seriously kind ladies work in this office. Dr. Richardson is an excellent optometrist. Very fair prices, too.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of glasses. The prices are also great. (Less expensive than Walmart) I highly recommend Beverly Spearman's Optometrist!!

Drs. Spearman & Richardson are as educated as they come, and their staff is wonderful! Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and friendly. My annual eye exam is the only appointment I ever look forward to.

The staff are so friendly. The office is comfortable and beautifully appointed. The doctor was very friendly and happy to answer all of my questions. 10/10 would recommend.
