I came in on Saturday 4/26/25 9:00 am. They were very friendly and welcoming. They understood my current situation with my vision and were prompt in giving me a slew of options when it came to referrals on eye surgeries. My OD Haesoul Choi explained everything to me about the images of my eye scans. The place is very clean and hygienic. I felt at ease through the entire process. The prices are very affordable. Come and see, everything is better , here at America's Best .

If I could give zero stars, I would, I would actually go into the negative. Starting off the lady at the front desk that's supposed to greet you is very disrespectful. I had my eye exam in July and ordered readers that I paid out-of-pocket not with card. I have went back three times and they always tell me FedEx got it. Remind you now we're in October and FedEx still has my glasses . I've had to ask for a refund and I paid in cash and they tell me now that they can't give me cash that I could get a check, but it's gonna be mailed to me. I have Tow The put it on my card. They said no they were easily fast to take my money and I never got services rendered.. So free to be America's best is the best at Wasting your time and stealing your money. Please don't go to this place save yourself the time and energy. And get your eyes seen somewhere else. I literally had to call my insurance to complain. Came back today, November 21, 2025 still no refund and still no answer of where my refund is as of now I don't want glasses from this place. All I want is my money back but the same way the glasses never got here. My money is not getting here These people rob and asked for the location Brazoria Center, Boulevard.

Jessica was extremely stand off and rude. I had an appointment at 4, came in at 4:15 due the horrible parking lot. They were not accommodating AT ALL. The Customer service was HORRIBLE. They definitely did not care about the patient but about rushing as fast as possible. I'm going to try Stanton Optical by Pecan grove. Same deals, better service. I would not recommend this store, specifically for the customer service.

Staff was friendly but the eye exam deficient. Poorly done, had the feeling that it was not correctly done. Went to another place for another exam and the eye exam done at your location proved to be wrong. It appears that services rendered to folks with Humana insurance are done wrong intentionally, or that is the assumption since the exam was done as fast as possible and getting rid of the client as soon as possible is the norm. My perception was that I was to have a complete eye exam but no, it was only a basic exam and failed to meet minimum standards.

This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with an eye care provider. Absolutely unacceptable. TWO pairs of glasses with only contact lenses fittings Now they are suddenly claiming I'm not entitled to my contact lens prescription, even though they already dispensed contacts after finalizing it. That makes absolutely no sense. They are withholding my contact lens prescription, and I have formally requested it via email. I expect it to be sent. There is no justification for refusing to release it. The staff is incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly. They act like you're inconveniencing them by simply walking in. Appointments get canceled before you're even seated. When you ask questions, you get responses like, "Uh, I don't know," as if no one has any idea what's happening. Zero communication. Zero urgency. Zero accountability. The only professional person in that entire office is the doctor -- and even she only apologized after being informed how poorly her staff was handling everything. Everyone else was defensive, dismissive, and rude. They try to make it seem like they want to help. They don't. There is no resolution coming from them. That much is clear. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else -- Target, Walmart, or literally any other eye care provider nearby. There are better options down the street. I need my contact lens prescription. I will be taking my business elsewhere. This has been, without exaggeration, the most incompetent and disorganized experience I have ever had with a medical office. On 02/06/2026, I spoke with Kayla (General Manager) and Jessica (Head of Sales). Both were dishonest. Jessica initially represented that I would be receiving specific items with my glasses, then later denied making those statements when confronted -- despite Kayla confirming she was listening to the conversation. Rather than take accountability, they abruptly stated they would "no longer assist" me and labeled me as "rude." Apparently, asking for accuracy and follow-through now qualifies as misconduct. After multiple unanswered emails, the district manager finally called me. That call was equally unproductive and unnecessarily hostile. Instead of resolving the situation, he chose to defend indefensible behavior and reinforce the pattern of avoidance and denial. Leadership clearly mirrors the dysfunction. The operational failures are staggering: Three separate contact lens trials Contacts dispensed after my prescription Out-of-pocket expenses due to their repeated errors Despite previously dispensing contact lenses under my finalized prescription, they are now claiming I am not entitled to my contact lens prescription. That contradiction is illogical and deeply concerning. Withholding a patient's prescription after services have been rendered is unacceptable. I have formally requested my contact lens prescription via email and expect it to be provided without further delay. The staff's demeanor is dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional. Basic communication appears beyond their capability. Appointments are mishandled. Questions are met with confusion. There is no coordination, no urgency, and no ownership of mistakes. The only individual who demonstrated any degree of professionalism was the doctor -- and only after being informed of the staff's conduct. Everyone else operated with a striking lack of accountability. At this point, there is no reasonable expectation of resolution from this office. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I require my contact lens prescription. I expect it to be released promptly. If this is the standard of management and leadership here, patients should strongly consider other providers. Don't with reply the generic rebuttal on how the district manager and how they reach just send me my receipts and lenses and refund paperwork. The "district manager has my phone number and email that I provided"

Initially all was fine, I had a good year or two but some things I noticed even from the beginning. The doctor didn't seem all too conversational, very stiff and matter of fact; which can be fine if everything else was fine - it wasn't. At time of pick up there was no making sure the frames fit, maybe that's changed over time but I'm used to there being more attention to this, tightening the frames or loosening as needed. But that's not why I write this review, I ordered glasses and contacts, so for whatever ridiculous reason to reduce the cost of contacts my glasses were practically full price. Fine, I'll just wait to see what comes of the contacts. Well, I wasn't contacted that they were ready for pick up, fine, I call, they were sitting there ready to go. I grab them and try and get them in, I'm totally unfamiliar but it's not just that, they give the cheapest of the cheap, okay fine, let me call back to try out a different sample. Do I hear back? Nope. I hear nothing. Should I have followed up? Sure, but isn't it also the job of this business to I don't know, maybe try and keep some regular customers? Expect to get robbed if you go here, you might have one okay visit but it won't last.
