My mom took my grandmother to this eye doctor for a cataract evaluation, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was kind, patient, and very attentive, which immediately made my grandmother feel comfortable.
The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all questions thoroughly, and showed genuine care and professionalism. My grandmother never felt rushed and left the appointment feeling informed, reassured, and very happy with the care she received.
We truly appreciate the compassion and respect shown throughout the visit. I highly recommend this office, especially for anyone seeking quality cataract care for an elderly family member.

The dr was nice and gave a comprehensive exam. Although, i got my glasses and the prescription needs to be revised. I call to get a quick appointment and there are no appointments available for a month because they prioritize new clients over existing. They have slots open but cannot give it to me because it's only for a full exam. Yet, this appointment is a quick 15-20minutes. Now i cannot wear my glasses for a month. This is super upsetting i paid $400 for glasses that i cant use. I will not return to Houston eye associates for my next exam.

Poor service. I should have not use this eye clinic. The doctor is good , however, the receptionist Lupita doesn't communicate well to the pt. Been waiting for the trial contact lenses they ordered and call me to schedule teachings with them, no calls received but she did said she tried calling me once and couldn't leave a message, she said she documented it. It's easy to say you did it and documented it to cover yourself, anyone can document without doing the task/job. I got so many calls and they are able to leave VM o me even those AI callers. If you don't reached your customer, aren't you supposed to call or make a follow up call? If I don't call you today you will not call me back. Poor customer service. You can keep those contact lenses and refund me for fitting or teachings that never happened. Will not recommend this clinic, poor service.

I had a visit for both my boys on Wednesday, 02/11/26, and everything went well from check-in to seeing the doctor. The nurse was very patient with us and Dr. Roach is amazing! Only complaint is I found it disgusting the front desk receptionist was talking while eating chips at the front, and checking patients in. She was one of the receptionist patients first see when they walk through the door. One other complaint is the guy who helped me and my son pick out lenses wasn't very helpful or seem engaged with us, as patients. Other than that, great experience and not a long wait time! I would still continue to go and recommend this location.

Friendly, efficient check-in. Nurse preliminaries were friendly ( old friends from previous visits ) and expertly and effortlessly carried out. Very empathetic and caring. Explained every upcoming step in the evaluation and summarized the results. Dr. V was his usual vivacious demeanor and led me through an internal inspection of my eyes in a gently, thorough process. He explained his findings succinctly and completely. He explained my options with respect to the need for new glasses, which were optional due to only small changes. He provided a prescription in case my glasses became scratched or lost. Couldn't have been a better conducted exam in all respects. Dr. V is a real prince. Top marks all around.

Dr. Ali is amazing. The office staff and billing department are a whole different story. I never received a call back with information I needed from an exam that I had to pay for since my insurance didn't cover it. I ultimately had to get the exam completed again elsewhere to get my glasses. Wasted so many weeks waiting to get new glasses after my surgery. Unless you understand your insurance inside and out when you fill out your initial paperwork, be prepared to pay. I have canceled all future appointments.
