About Carol Boren, MD

A native New Mexican, Dr. Boren graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In 1999 she and her husband, Rance Boren, MD, moved to Brownwood, where she practiced comprehensive adult and pediatric ophthalmology in their private practice for 26 years.
