We are incredibly grateful to have found Dr. Bao. Our experience with her has truly been life-changing for my daughter. My daughter was diagnosed with nearsightedness and astigmatism at just 8 years old. Before meeting Dr. Bao, we worked with another eye doctor to try orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses. Unfortunately, because my daughter's eye shape is not typical, the standard lenses did not fit properly. Over the course of an entire year, we tested six different lenses from various brands. The doctor kept adjusting prescriptions and switching lenses, but they were all standard designs. None of them were able to correct her vision to 20/20. Worse, because the lenses didn't fit well, my daughter constantly felt itchiness and discomfort after putting them on. It was frustrating and discouraging, and we began to lose hope. Everything changed when we met Dr. Bao. Dr. Bao is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She took the time to fully understand our previous experience and ran thorough tests to evaluate my daughter's specific eye shape and condition. What truly sets her apart is that she doesn't rely only on standard solutions -- she customized a special Ortho-K lens specifically for my daughter. The result was amazing. It took Dr. Bao only one adjustment to bring my daughter's vision to 20/20. Even more importantly, the customized lenses fit perfectly. My daughter no longer experiences itchiness or discomfort at all. Ortho-K lenses absolutely can help control myopia progression, even for children with astigmatism -- but proper fitting is everything. If your child feels discomfort wearing Ortho-K lenses, it may mean a customized design is needed. Very few doctors are willing to invest the extra time and expertise required to create truly customized lenses, but Dr. Bao does. I 200% highly recommend Dr. Bao to any parents who want to effectively manage and control their child's vision. She is professional, dedicated, and genuinely cares about her patients' long-term eye health. We couldn't be more thankful.

Dr. Bao has been my eye doctor for many years now, since I was in high school. I am now in my mid-30's and my prescription has not gotten any worse in that time due to her suggestion of using Rigid Gas Permeable contact lenses rather than soft contact lenses. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life- it has given me great, consistent vision and longevity of vision without dryness or complications. I recommend this type of lens to many of my friends, but have not known another person who uses them. Dr. Bao seems to be one of the very few trained in their use, though it seems many people would benefit enormously from them as I have!

I and my husband had our eyes examined thoroughly by Dr. Sarah Yun. We are both older age individuals. Dr. Yun was knowledgeable, professional, and listened carefully to our eye stories and concerns. Her detailed explanations and advice were excellent. She helped us understand the best options currently for each of our specific eye conditions. She also clearly explained what we could expect for our eye conditions in the future. She provided instructions and advice as to how we could best care for and manage our eyes daily--and for the years to come. We both were very happy with our examination. We have both had good eye exams in many countries including in the Middle East and in Hong Kong. But our eye exam with Dr. Yun is on the top of our list. We very highly recommend Dr. Yun to anyone with normal condition eyes, but especially for those with any of the several conditions that come with older age.

It had been many years since I saw an eye doctor, but I needed to renew my driver's license in person to be able to drive safely. A friend referred me to this eye center close to home so I checked it out. It was last minute but they were able to squeeze me in on two separate occasions during the busy Thanksgiving season. Both Dr. Yachin Bao and Dr. Sarah Yun were professional and attentive with a smooth changeover between the two. They were proactive in explaining how the eye worked using a model of the eye. As I suspected, I was beginning to get presbyopia so they wrote a couple of prescriptions so I could make my own decision on how to address it after giving their recommendation. They also obtained a baseline record of my eye through eye dilation and other procedures due to my family history of retinal detachment. They care for their patients and have the long-term in mind. I've already referred them to another couple!

I'm just over 60 years old, and over the past two years my eyes have become increasingly dry. It got so bad that I needed to use eye drops almost every 30 minutes. In June this year, I visited Eagle Eye Center (Dry Eye Specialist) for an examination. Dr. Bao recommended that I try IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy, which required four sessions. I decided to go ahead with the treatment. After the first two sessions, I didn't notice much change, but after completing all four, my dry eye symptoms improved significantly. I hardly need to use eye drops anymore, and my eyes feel much more comfortable. During my follow-up visit, the doctor told me that most of my meibomian glands had reopened. It seems this technology really works! I'm happy to share my experience and recommend IPL therapy to others who are also suffering from dry eye problems.

Today I met Dr Sarah, Eagle Eye Centers newest doctor. She did an excellent job explaining the dry eye procedure. Her colleague Dr. Bao took great care in explaining my test results. From beginning to end I was treated with dignity and respect and felt welcomed and cared for.

Dr Sarah is the best eye doctor! She is so kind and patiently explained everything so well!
