My entire family (6 plus ppl) has been going to Dr Matt Mcmenemmy for over 20 years. Every single time he and his staff are professional , thorough and experts in every way ! But In addition to his expertise is his humanity ! He actually truly cares about each and every one of his patients and that is something you cannot put a price on ! His daughter. Dr Madison is now part of his practice and she is just as good and kind as he is. I cannot recommend them enough !

Dr. Carl Pellerin, MD, at Lonestar Eye is an exceptional ophthalmologist who brings a refreshing level of professionalism and care to his practice. His eye exams are thorough, meticulous, and conducted with a high degree of expertise. What sets Dr. Pellerin apart is his ability to explain complex medical information in clear, everyday language, making it easy for patients to understand their eye health without feeling overwhelmed by technical jargon. Dr. Pellerin is open, approachable, and genuinely inquisitive, taking the time to listen to his patients' concerns and answer questions with patience and clarity. His follow-through is outstanding--going above and beyond what I've experienced with other eye care professionals. He ensures that every detail is addressed, and his commitment to patient care is evident in his proactive approach. As a newer addition to Lonestar Eye, Dr. Pellerin is a tremendous asset to the practice. They are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and skilled physician on their team. I highly recommend Dr. Pellerin to anyone seeking top-notch eye care with a personal touch.

I've visited previously and purchased an arsenal of contact lenses and two pairs of glasses (transitional lenses and prescription sunglasses with name brand frames). I called for pricing due to being self employed and am deciding if vision health coverage is worth paying for versus out of pocket. The immediate person over the phone does not answer any questions about lense rates, therefore transferred me to the intended person, which did not answer and I was promoted to leave a voicemail which I respectfully and politely did, however no return of the phone call to this day. I called back later and have received the information I was asking for after being transferred. I will say that the rates of this place are ASTRONOMICALLY HIGH considering other name brand NATIONAL competitors, not to mention an over two month waiting period just to get an appointment, which other places are delighted to fit me in the same day or the following week.. With this being considered, the vibe recieved is definitely a careless, moralless mentality, which is far too common in today's times, and for that, I'll take my business elsewhere. Just by the feeling I've recieved I've decided to view their rating on Google, which is 3.0 stars, and I can say I absolutely see why.

Absolutely awful service. My mom went there for her yearly check up and made her wait and wait while others kept going in to be seen. When she got up to ask the receptionist her excuse was that the person who spoke Spanish was busy so she had to wait. My mom was discriminated for not speaking English that's a shame of clinic

I went to Dr. Matthew McMenemy in May, he and his staff were excellent in evaluating my eyes. They are a busy clinic; nonetheless, I was attended on time and thoroughly. The busyness was a good sign of their services. Post my visit, while traveling outside of Texas, I had an eye incident and Lone Star staff answered my questions and assured me of my situation. They recommended I see a local ophthalmologist asap. Thanks!

Dr. Madison is very caring kind and compassionate. She listens to every word you say and gives a thorough examination. Me and my family have been seeing her for years and she has helped us tremendously with our eye issues. The only reason for a 4/5 is the wait times. The staff is nice as well.

Wonderful Experience! Dr. Maddison is amazing! I had cataract surgery and she made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She's kind, professional, and truly cares. The staff was also fantastic--friendly and supportive. Highly recommend!

Dr Madison M is so thoughtful, kind and compassionate in helping her patients. Both my mom and I see her and just love her. Yes, there was a wait time (thus 4 stars instead of 5). My annual exam, which was extremely thorough, took 1 1/2 hrs, from when I walked in the door until I left. Aside from waiting, I've had a very positive experience!
