My husband and I had our second yearly vision check and Dr. Herman is great and her staff is amazing. Jennifer and the staff are always helpful and keeps us up to date on what we need. Dr. Herman looked over what our previous prescriptions and made necessary adjustments. I would definitely recommend them for your vision exams and glasses/contacts.

Office staffing is rude, unprofessional and unresponsive. Jennifer, I'm assuming is the office manager has NO decorum or communication skills with the patients that come in the office. They have 6 -8 staff members in a 300sqft office and seemingly nobody knows how to adequately do their job. The optometrist was wonderful but his staff is deplorable. Unfortunate. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had an appointment for 3:30 and 4:00. And it's 5:45 and I'm still here with only one of my two appointments done. I had me and my spouse setup, however we will never come here again. The management is a joke. I made an appointment weeks in advance for this type of service seriously?!?!

This is the eye Dr inside walmart. If you are not expecting to spend the entire day than this may not be the place for you. I hate posting this review but I feel it necessary given how my experience has been the last few times. I really hope that they stop overbooking, and start respecting the patients time and understand it's not realistic to have patients there all day long in a crowded room. I've been going here for years and the doctor and staff are great and friendly. However, I fell like the wait time is getting more and more out of hand, Pros: Dr Brencher is very professional, and patient. He's great with kids and talks directly to them in ways they understand. Regardless of wait time, he does take his time with you and does not make it fee rushed. Convenience, located inside taylor walmart, only 25 min away from Rockdale. Cons: WAIT TIME. The past 4 times I was there, it took the entire day and I am not exaggerating. My last appointment was at 12pm, after an hour and a half of waiting I had to let them know I had to be somewhere by 4pm and my appointment was a follow up and my daughter needed to still get the drops to be dilated. She knocked on the door for Dr. Brencher and he was good with her administering them. We waited the 30 min, then another 20 when I reminded them that I had somewhere to be before 4pm. After another 30-45 minutes the Dr finally did the exam. I left at 3:45 and didn't have enough time to get the glasses from walmart.

Showed up at 5:45 for A 6:00 appointment it is now 6:45 and I finally walked out absolutely ridiculous

This office was able to see my son last minute. The staff was super nice and was able to work with my insurance hiccups. 10/10 for the support staff. Doc was cool too. Perla and the doc made my son feel comfortable with trying on contacts for the first time. He struggled but after a pep talk with the doc he got it. Love this place.

Dr brencher Does not take the insurance as stated I have United Healthcare Gold supposedly he never ran it; however i( received a bill from united healthcare for over 200$ for me to pay to my insurance )as well as made me pay for his service out of pocket in total I now owe 200 + dollars to the insurance then he Took my money charged off my bank card of 129.00. and (has yet to reimburse one of the monies) I gave them my insurance card and id which was a mistake (scammed me)never asked for a glasses prescription but that's all I received. update: I asked for contact lens prescription but had to wait..2 months unexceptable ....and his appointment took 2+hr of waiting time .Also was there from 1 to 5 pm 4 hrs total that day! Unexcepable!! I believe that I should say Don't waste your time here. Didn't even give me the correct contact lens trial pair had to order another pair but the 1st trial in my eyes for a month caused me severe headache and dizziness The second pair is still very incorrect and blurry! Update July 17 2024. Dr Brencher was harassing my husband on his work cell phone. (About this review)Still hasn't released my contact lens prescription. Never had any problems getting a contact lens prescription in my 40!years of wearing them. This Dr Brencher is an unexceptable because for the 1st thing: Wait time. 2nd: ( fraud) double charges for service that I'm required to pay after also charging me out of pocket no way sir! Final update. August. Finally received a contact lens exam over my husbands work phone however it's the wrong prescription(.AGAIN.)and I got double billed for his service GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! (For your own sanity!) I know I am!!! Too many problems with his service.

Dr. Brencher is an amazing eye Dr he went out of his way to help me get seen with a eye specialist...he listens to what you have to say and tells you how it is thank you Dr Brencher for going above and beyond what you do and how you truly care for your patience. I will return and refer others all of his staff is amazing and very friendly, kind, loving and helpful
