My wife had cataract surgery on both eyes here with Dr. Pennell and he was awesome in all respects. Courteous, friendly and caring. Took time to explain everything. His Techician assistant also very friendly and helpful. The place is very state of the art, clean and the nurses also terrific. Dr. Pennell even took the time for a prayer and we very much appreciated that. This place is Outstanding! Thank you very much. The Davis'es

The front office phone call will tell you everything you need to know. There's no hello, how can I help you, not even a goodbye they just hang up. Good luck with the must unprofessional receptionist you could ask for. Maybe they're working for free or doing you a favor by answering the phone. The doctor is good, the wait is so bad! Plan on an afternoon of waiting around for your appointment. The front desk staff all the way through Karen the manager is inept. I booked a routine annual visit that's covered completely through my insurance. They set me up with a doctor who doesn't take my insurance when they have others who do and I've seen them but they billed my medical for things that did not happen, then sent me a bill for $75 for the visit that way their mistake. I explained this to Karen the afternoon of and she said she would look into it but never called me. I called again and left a message but was never called back. No one there is able to help fix their mistake as I continue to get bills in the mail. Stay away from this business they will cause more headaches than what you go in with. I just recorded another bill thanks eye care can't bill right associates.

The staff assistants are the worst. They talk trash about the patients. They treat you terrible. The lady tells me "well if your eye hurts that bad, then you would spend the $1000 on the meds at the pharmacy" that's right, the meds are $1000. The staff insults you & lies to the doctors.

Staff is extremely nice and helpful would recommend them to anyone needing eye care

Never have ive been cared for so much for my eyes' Shelby the tech was great, and Dr Azar was exceptional at explaining my eyes and the care they need! She is very personal, and caring! Recommend her highly! Thank you so much!

The wait time is unacceptable. We were asked to come 30 minutes before the appointment time to complete paperwork, then had to wait 40 minutes past the appointment time to see the assistant. And then additional wait time while eyes are dilated, pushing well past the usually 20 minutes, into another 40 minutes.

I called and left my number for callback. They barely let my phone ring and hung up. Now I'm having to start the process all over. Ridiculous. Back for another appointment and they still haven't figured out how to keep a flow of patients. EVERY time I come here I spend a about 2-4 hours waiting before everything is said and done. There has to be some changes made somewhere. I wish I could give zero stars.

Re:the Doctors, they are excellent in caring for eyes. BUT Wait time here is absolutely the worst. Every single time we have had an appointment, the wait time has been over 3 and a half hours and usually longer from appointment time. So very disrespectful of patients' time! Today, our appt. is at 8:00 AM, and after asking I was told the Dr. doesn't even arrive until 9:30. There were 7 patients waiting at 8:00. Anyone have a good eye Dr. they use that doesn't have half-day wait times?
