Victoria Eye Center

Had a bad bad experience with the boutique and them honoring their warranty with lenses and frames. I had my lenses replaced. The new lenses cut my face so had to send off my frames with the new lenses to factory to be sanded down to be safe. I then got my frames with the ear piece cracked broken and filed warranty on my frames. They contacted me about not offering my frames in the color i had and was making me choice frames i didn't like. I told them i needed to think about what color and even talked about coming in with seeing if they could glue the break. I had no idea my warranty was about up and wasn't told either. I didn't received a call back to follow up before the warranty was up, either. I called back to go ahead with the different color and was informed my warranty went out. I was offed a discount from 265.00 to 189.00 for purchasing new frames. I could afford that, so I said could they still try to fix the break with their special tools and glue and they refused to do that now. they said i could still buy new ones at a disconnect amount. but that doesn't help when you don't have the funds and when you spend over $1000.00 on the glasses you expect to have the services you pay for. Nope not there. They take all your money and then when you can be gouged any more they discard you like trash. So i suggest never spend money at a place that just sees you as a number to money bags.

I highly recommend Victoria Eye Center. All of the doctors, nurses and staff are extremely knowledgeable and treated me with kindness and respect! Any and all of the questions that I had were answered to my satisfaction. I feel comfortable with everyone there! Many kudos to everyone at Victoria Eye Center!

Oh my, what a delight the staff is! Felt right at home the gentleman that checked me out & made my follow up appointment was a hoot! Look forward to seeing everyone again on my next appointment!

Update. We paid $9500 for the upgraded lens and cataract surgery for two eyes. No insurance assistance. Wish insurance would at least cover the lens up to the cost of normal lens. It's foolish for them not to. Now no prescriptions are necessary as before each year. Vision is outstanding. Highly recommend. Everything is good. Except their willingness to tell you what procedures cost you. Part of the insurance scam Prices should be across the board. Still a mystery what we will pay.

All doctors, technicians and associates are helpful and very professional. Scheduling was easy. Wait times were reasonable. I am impressed with how easy I was able to get answers to my questions. Victoria Eye Center was quick in getting with my insurance and scheduling an appointment date. Many thanks!

Dr. Majeed was extremely rude and condescending in office. Then, we were unable to get the correct medications over the weekend. Despite calling multiple times, they were unable to get the right prescriptions sent to the pharmacy. Every single person involved in trying to resolve the issue had an attitude and made me feel extremely unwelcome. After all of this, the medications I was told I would receive were never sent to the pharmacy.

I recently took my husband to Victoria Eye Center on a Thursday for a surgery to remove a growth on the eye. I was appalled that that the waiting room floor is filthy, and the room smelled of cheap clearers so strongly that I had to step outside. I couldn't help but pray that the treatment areas were cleaner than the waiting room. After the surgery, a sample was sent to a pathologist in Austin to check for cancerous cells. My husband was told that he would get a call with the results early the following week. No one ever called. My husband called the office repeatedly leaving messages requesting the results of the pathology, but the calls seemed to be ignored. AFTER MORE THAN TWO WEEKS following the surgery, the office finally provided the pathology results. It is unconscionable that the office ignores calls with questions and is so recalcitrant providing updates or results on pathology. Very unprofessional.

The Victoria Eye Center in Victoria, Texas is the best 'Eyecare Experience' I have ever had! The Staff is very Professional and Dr. McGuire is Awesome and Thorough in his Eye Examinations!!!
