We recently went to family eye care in weatherford , they did my son's exam but it wasn't very thorough and kinda high in price. We paid over 350$ with insurance, seemed like a little much to me. So we did some research on some other places when we found stanton optical, it had great reviews and to us , reviews are everything these days. The drive was easy, about 8 minutes, found the place easy, walked in and was greeted by a very nice and professional young lady by the name of carol. She was so nice to deal with , she was extremely knowledgeable and extremely thorough. She walked with me through everything and made me feel very relaxed. Come to find out She is the general manager! Take notes from her if you work in the retail customer service industry because she nailed it. She went above and beyond to make you feel welcome, relaxed and made sure you understood exactly what you were getting and why. For what I needed, my total was 250$ but for what all she did during my exam and how thorough she was, I feel like it was money well spent. The establishment was very clean as well, oh and anytime i used a machine, before i did carol would wipe it down for me, which i thought was 5 stars. Thank you so much carol for the excellent customer service, that is something that is missing these days so fantastic job and thank you for prescribing me something that is actually going to fix my eyes finally, you are awesome! My family and I have found a new optical place thanks again carol.

So impressed with Stanton Optical! Carol was so helpful and got my husband his new two pair of glasses ready for him to wear out of the store! We were taken care of in only an hour!

I walked in on a Saturday and the place was packed, but everyone was being helped (pretty quickly). I was able to get an eye exam and ordered new glasses without an appointment and on a Saturday! They offer a great service for busy people, like me. They called me when my glasses were ready for pick up and CAROL was absolutely amazing! She runs a great store and handles multiple tasks with ease and is so kind!! If y'all need glasses you should check them out!!

My husband and I went to a consultation for lens replacement surgery. They suggested we get fitted for mono vision contacts before we decided to have our lenses permanently replaced for 1 eye to see close up and the other far away. Neither of us have worn contacts. We were able to book an appointment on the same day and they were very nice BUT... they immediately had us sign a waiver acknowledging the visit would be virtual with the Optometrist.... Yet the mysterious wizard of eyes remained behind the curtain! The prescription was done behind the scenes, they plopped the contacts in front of us and watched us struggle to get them in our eyes (which only happened after I FaceTimed my daughter for assistance). They didn't make sure we could get them out or give us a case to put them in if we were lucky enough to get them out (we asked for one before we left). There was no vision check before we left to make sure we were prescribed correctly and adjusting to the mono vision lenses, just 2 employees wearing white coats like they are doctors, but in reality they are 100% sales. Not the place to go if you have no idea what your prescription should be and have never worn contacts. Guess I should go somewhere else to make sure I'm fitted correctly before I pickup the 3 month supply I had to purchase to get the discounted exam price that is "affiliated with my insurance"...But not really. If you know what you need and don't need to talk to a Dr. this place will hook you up the same day you call.

Carol was a big help! I came in feeling defeated after my glasses broke this morning & I figured I would be paying allot and my glasses wouldn't be ready for weeks. I thankfully came in on the weekend of the Labor Day sale and Carol explained all the deals that were available and was patient while I made a decision on frames. My glasses were actually available to be made today! So I had a new patient exam, looked & picked two frames and had them made in UNDER A HOUR! Will be back again to bring the rest of my family

The experience I had at was a great and calming experience. I enjoyed staff member Angeline's help and patience. There is a great selection of glasses to try on and handy to tray to use for my selected frames. I didn't feel like a burden when I tried on so many frames. The staff was obliging in putting back frames I forget went and they continued to show me the prices of the frames. The office space clean and smelled clean as well. The staff also wiped down the optical equipment in front of me to guarantee the cleanliness/disinfection. For my first time visit, this place gains 5 starts for service, staff and cleanliness.

Go see Carol!!! Tell her that you are in search for a great deal... and she will make your glass dreams come true! Super budget friendly!!! The glasses appear to be quality when I tried them on. Ended up going to purchase at Costco. But if I hadn't... she was who had my business. And I have been using somewhere around the corner for the last several years. And Carol is so much more affordable!!! Comparable to what I got at Costco... legit! Call Carol and buy if you need a one stop shop for your vision screen (I did get this and wow!!!). Better than easy breezy Cover Girl!
