America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I stopped by America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses to try on Pair Eyewear frames for new glasses. Even though I was just there to try on frames and didn't purchase in-store, the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and very helpful--which I truly appreciated. The storefront is conveniently located, though parking was a bit of a challenge. The business is right next to a gym, and it must have been peak workout time because I had to circle the lot several times to find a spot. It might help to have a few parking spaces labeled for America's Best, but I imagine parking depends heavily on the time of day. That said, I absolutely love my new frames. I ordered them online and had them shipped to me, and I'm so excited to play with all the different covers and attachments to match my daily wardrobe. Overall, a great experience and a friendly team--I'd definitely recommend stopping in.

Best place ever, I've been to the one in Texas city for the last 2 years and they can be rude or very slow place, but Webster location specifically THIS one! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment laughed with me didn't care, immediately got me in took me back right away no time wasted was done with everything in under 20 minutes very friendly and professional I loved every single worker hands down the best place, the only thing is waiting 2 week for glasses it's rough but nothing they can do about it. Also great options to choose from. My new glasses whenever they come in.

What a great visit! My son needed to get his annual checkup so we chose this Amarica's Best location. The doctor was friendly, had great bedside manner, and efficient. He took his time when my son needed him to repeat his questions, slowing down enough for him to understand. Everyone we dealt with from start to finish made the visit a success.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This location of America's Best apparently hates moms and families. My wife had to circle the huge parking lot several times looking for a spot that was overtaken by customers of cosmic air and the gym, had to wake up my 4 year who fell asleep on the way, and walk in with him, and my 5 and 7 year old from a very far parking spot. She got inside at 5:57 PM for a 5:50 PM appointment. 7 minutes late, not ideal, but not unreasonable given the situation. The front desk worker wouldn't even make eye contact with my wife when she walked in and seemed bothered that she was there. When my wife said she had an appointment she said that she didn't think she could be seen. The other workers then walked to the back to talk to the doctor and came back saying that the doctor wouldn't see any more patients. My wife was confused because there was no communication about a cancellation if late or about a restriction on when the doctor was supposed to leave for the day. I arrived as she was walking out of the office and asked what was going on. When I went inside, I was told that it was the doctor's discretion if they want to cancel or not. I gave them half of a piece of mind for treating my wife this way and left it at that. So if you have ever been late to an appointment because you have to bring your kids with you or because their parking lot is huge and full or for any normal human reason, you might get completely screwed out of an appointment by some jerk doctor and their employees.

I went in today because I needed an urgent pair of contacts. Rudest staff I've probably ever dealt with. I recommend going to the location in Dickinson because they are a lot more friendlier. They almost charged 119 even though I was a member and wanted to argue with me, making it seem like I didn't know what I was saying. Genuinly felt like they were teaming up on me. However the doctor is a very nice lady and a very good doctor, she speeded up the process and I was happy with how I left. As I was leaving they told me I HAD to buy contacts today after I asked and then said "no" I don't have to buy. Wasn't professional.

I've gone to America's best in Webster for several years. I continue to go back because first off I like Dr. Nguyen, Always prompt and professional. Next the staff are always helpful and kind this time Maria helped me tremendously leave with two pair of glasses and I only went in for one and she did not try to upsell me. She simply told me how I could get two pair of glasses love that information. Another reason is the price, why go anywhere else when they have a nice selection for reasonable prices. Thank you AB!

I was looking to spend a more reasonable amount of money for my glasses as they are mainly for back up. I decided to try America's Best between some other errands. I was not certain I was even purchasing the day I went in. Not only did they greet me quickly and communicate what options I had after a quick look at my RX; they allowed me time to browse with no pushy sales pitch. The person helping me ended up needing to intervene with a customer who was having some difficulty (not due to store issue) and the customer service rep was extremely patient with the customer who was having trouble comprehending. Another rep immediately began helping me. I ended up purchasing what I needed at a very reasonable price. I was also able to watch the store team assist the customer having trouble with patience and respect. When I returned to pick up my new glasses I witnessed a different customer rep do a great job explaining how a customer could find what they were looking for elsewhere as ABW had some sizing limitations for the particular subscription.

Went to America Best in Webster today and everything with the doc was awesome as it should be but that's not why they get five stars. I truly hope the people that need to read this, read this and give credit where credit is due. Today when picking out my eyeglasses and contacts I was helped by an amazing Manager named Randal he is the definition of what a solid representative of a company should be and that's a descent human being. He was sincere, honest, patient, knowledgeable and informative. You see today I had choices of where to go but time was my biggest concern and from the minute I called and quite frankly up until I walked in I questioned this company based on the Baytown location experience which in my eyes needs to be trained by Randal. The entire staff that I worked with today was indeed a reflection of him. I will not only be coming back next year but I will bring my whole family. I hope America Best values what Randal offers because he is a true asset!
