Wylie Eye Center

I came on a recommendation was greeted right away. Gave all my info she walked me to glasses and said pick what I wanted and said she'd be checking my insurance when I was ready. Took me 3 minutes walked back and she was now waiting on another customer. I waited and then gave up. When you wait on a customer you finish with a customer before you go to another, and let the new customer know you're already waiting on a customer. You don't ask the customer you were working with to wait through another customer. When I set down the tray they asked what was up I told them upfront why I was leaving did not make a difference. And for the price certainly need to do better!

From the eye exam to the help finding and fitting glasses, Wylie Eye Center makes it easy to take care of your eye needs. The staff on all sides of the business has been helpful and easy to work with.

Wylie Eye Center is absolutely amazing!!! I'd give them more stars if I could! First of all, they have cutest quaint store front in downtown Wylie. I love the location and inside, they have tons of open space, plenty of room to wait and the walls are filled with all of the glasses options. Our appointment time was at 5:30, which is very helpful for working clients. They called us right back -almost no waiting which was so nice. They got started right away on the various preliminary tests for my son. He was pretty wiggly but the eye technician was very patient. We headed back to the exam room and Dr. Anderson came in to greet us. She was great! Very friendly and approachable. Kind to my son and very thorough. We enjoyed chatting and hearing what she had to say and felt like we were in great hands! Then came time to pick out glasses! They had a great selection, an office staff member helped us make the final decision and for us all checked out and taken care of for what I thought was a very reasonable price! They helped keep my younger son entertained with a few little treats too. The whole process was great and I highly recommend them!!!

This may be an awesome place to get your eyes taken care off but having to wait 2 weeks for a basic eye test is a bit wild. Glad yall are busy tho! Best of luck.

This establishment received 2 stars due to actually greeting me when walking in the store. However my husband and I were there for 20 minutes trying to purchase some prescription glasses as he broke his... and out of 4-5 associates being behind the counter talking, nobody physically came to help me. I previously purchased Versace glasses and had a great experience at that time so I wanted to definitely go back but this recent visit was a disappointment. Due better please.

Had a great experience at Wylie eye center, Zander, and Ryan who work in optical helped me greatly through every step to replace my daughter's lenses that were scratched. Will definitely be coming back!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable doctors and staff. Our family thinks this is the best place for eye check ups and glasses.

Review of Wylie Eye Center I have been a loyal patient at Wylie Eye Center for the past 8-10 years, returning every couple of years for an eye exam, new frames, and the same type of lenses I've used for years. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been deeply disappointing and unlike anything I've experienced with them before. This time, a mistake was made -- the wrong type of lenses were ordered. I realized the issue immediately upon receiving them and even called from the airport the same day to report the problem. It was clear upon review that they had ordered the wrong lenses. I requested the correct comprehensive lenses to be ordered, expecting the matter to be handled promptly. Two weeks and many follow-up calls later, I was finally told my lenses had arrived. When I went to drop off my frames with the incorrect lenses, I explained the situation to a young staff member, who said she would look into it. The next day, when I returned to pick them up, I was shocked to be told I needed to pay for the new lenses -- essentially paying for two sets, one of which I will never use. What's worse is the complete lack of communication and care throughout the process. No notes were taken, no follow-up calls were made, and the staff I spoke to the previous day didn't even remember me. When I asked to speak with the office manager, I was told she was busy but would call me before the end of the day. That call never came. After over a decade of trusting Wylie Eye Center, this experience has left me saddened and frustrated. The quality of service and care I once valued here seems to have disappeared entirely.
