Would not go here. Staff is very incapable here. Put the wrong prescription in her glass and gave hers to someone else. Hers is very strong due to an eye miscommunication with her brain 2 years agoe. We usually go to eye glass world but needed help this year from school on a voucher so had no choice. She wore glass for a day that was wrong prescription for as we were told by indifferent staff to just try and get used to them. Went back and the assistant manager was there and figured out the wrong prescription was in her glasses . Then the front girl staff that is horrible, I don't think she knows how to read anything told my daughter that it would be an up charge cause of her thick glasses. Da we are on a voucher can't upgrade. So was told again 2 weeks wait which should have been put on a rush as they srewed up in the first place. Will never go there again they treat you like crap as a customer. -5 more appropriate score.

We have had a great experience with the staff at the Castlebrook location in Layton! They are knowledgeable, professional, eager to help and want to make sure you have a positive experience there. We have been especially grateful to Tino, who has taken the time to answer questions and address our concerns. I recommend this office 100%

I am right now at the Layton, Utah store 930 W Antelope Dr, Layton, UT 84041. There is something very stressful and irritating and disrespectful going on for us as customers. I made my daughter's appointment today at 4:30 pm Sep 23, 2023. Be on time for my daughter's appointment at 4:35 pm. I arrived and the attention was not the best. I came for the promotion of 2 pairs of glasses for $80 and the exam was free. I told the workers that I was coming for this promotion. They told me that I had to take my daughter's exam quickly because the doctor had to leave and they were forcing me and my daughter to take the exam in a very forced and rushed way. My daughter felt very bad just like me. I told them that my daughter wanted to see some type of lenses first before taking the exam because she didn't know if any type of lenses she liked. She suffers from some anxiety and for her it is not normal or it does not feel good for people to rush her or freeze her from doing something she does not want. I explained to them that my daughter wanted to take time to see if any model of lens she liked and they spoke to me in a loud voice and in a not very polite manner. Then another person and the doctor came and said if I didn't take the test now then I had to leave the store. I told them that we felt forced and obligated and my daughter started crying and we left the store in a very bad way. I don't think this is the experience that you, as companies, want your customers to get by coming here to your stores and putting their children, which is the most precious thing a parent has, to be mistreated. I need to speak with a supervisor or manager in charge of the state or US level. I hope to have a response as soon as possible. My daughter urgently needs her glasses.

My daughter was out of her contacts, as her shipment has taken longer to arive than expected. Melanie, the other staff, and the optometrist in store helped make it possible to get my daughter a trial pair of lenses of her prescription immediately. This was incredibly helpful and appreciated. The staff were friendly and professional.

I got 2 pairs of glasses and they came in super quick. Very impressed. I recommend this location. No complaints with my experience.

Outstanding service, professional atmosphere. Corissa was so helpful. Carissa made me laugh on my way out the door. The glasses I purchased are the best, filters blue light, transition during bright days to protect me from UV rays, remain to this day scratch-free.

Zero stars. Ordered 2 pair of glasses, only received 1. Was told the other would ship "whenever". The worker was cutting up kids stickers and drinking a monster drink while people were waiting to be helped. Didn't make sure my child's glasses even fit their face before telling us to leave.

The person who assisted us was amazing, however she was new. She needed assistance and there was only one associate Hannah who knew how to assist. We were there for over 2.5 hours. We were not disclosed some billing information correctly by Hannah when she was assisting, resulting in an additional $35 charge. She had spent over the 2.5 hours we were there waiting helping a customer try one every pair of glasses in the store. While that customer is also important, over 2.5 hours was ridiculous when over 90 minutes was just trying to check out, being over charged because of being misinformed, etc. more staff should be available if the expectation of the more experienced person is spend almost 3 hours with one person. Even the receptionist had to help people with picking out glasses and checking out. I wish we would have never gone here and picked a different place.
