I am from New Mexico visiting for a business trip and needed eye care needs. Dr Bigler was amazing, best doctor I've ever seen. He was not only kind and patient but very thorough. Kenzie and team are amazing. Highly recommended!! Thank you
The checkup was thorough, and the staff was courteous and attentive. The doctor was very kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. There is a wide selection of frames available, and the prices are reasonable.
I am not one for negative reviews, but I just needed to share this in hopes that things will improve for patients in the future. I have seen Dr. Bigler for 4 years, and every time I saw him for my yearly exam, I would tell him that I had a floater in my eye, as well as horrendous dry eyes to the point where my contacts were unable to be used for their full 14 days. My eyes were constantly dry, gritty, and bothersome. I complained about this every time I went in for a checkup and he would sort of just write it off as, "you live in a dry state" or "these things happen with age, just use artificial tears." I'm only 31. I ended up seeing a second optometrist for another opinion this year and he has now been treating me for two months with a strict no glasses policy, multiple medications, steroids, and all the stops treatment plan. Since those haven't worked, I am now needing tear duct implants because my systemic inflammation from my autoimmune disease has progressively damaged, inflamed, and dried out my eyes over the years, and no one caught it. On my first visit, he took one look with his flashlight after doing a vision exam, and instantly saw that my corneas "looked like someone had rubbed gravel in them." It's now taking months of therapy and money to fix what could have been found when I first started questioning it 4 years ago if I had been taken seriously. Also, after just a month, the floater in my eye has disappeared and was a symptom of my terrible inflammation. So clearly not an age or a dry state issue. I know that no doctor is perfect, but I just wish that Dr. Bigler would have taken extra time to listen to my concerns and took a closer look, or I wouldn't be dealing with this now. The staff at VisionWorks is great, but I don't think I will be back after seeing how many repercussions have come about from not being treated with just a smidge of extra time or care.
Every time myself or family is in we always work with Lisa and she is AMAZING! She is fun to work with and talk to. She always makes sure we get what we want on our glasses for the best deal she can give us. She's our favorite part about working with Vision works
Must be joking. I came in for an eye exam and glasses. Exam was great. 45 minutes later after picking frames and options on lenses. AND after their so called "SALE". My total was over $625.... yes 625!!!!... I walked out and bought them online. Exact same options and very close to the same frames for 210... week later I got them and they are wonderful. You read that right...625?????!!!!!
I came in a bit nervous and unsure of the process. I was greeted by Kat and she was funny and got me scheduled on the spot. After the exams, her and Lisa had glasses picked out for me to try. Lisa is very knowledgeable and sweet. Overall these women made my experience unforgettable.
From start to finish, my visit was a joy! The receptionist greeted me with warmth and kindness--she didn't even bat an eye (or mention!) that I was a whole week early for my appointment. The wonderful young lady who guided me back for my scans was cheerful, polite, and kind, making the process feel easy and comfortable. The doctor was the perfect mix of knowledgeable, professional, and precise--exactly what you hope for in a visit. And then there was the absolute powerhouse who helped me choose my glasses... wow! She was knowledgeable, genuine, kind, personable, and an absolute blast to work with. I left not just with great frames, but with a smile that lasted the rest of the day!
I always get my glasses here. They are friendly and very helpful! And the glasses are always good quality. I love the $39 protection coverage too. If something happens to your glasses your covered!
