Yesterday I accidentally got super glue in my eye and had to go to the emergency. I was taken care of immediately -- they checked my vitals and examined my eye right away. Thank God it wasn't anything serious.
Every staff member did an excellent job, from the front desk staff to the doctor. I was there for about 2 hours in total, and the best part is that my insurance covered everything, so I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket.
They also gave me my prescription for glasses. I'm very grateful for the care I received.

Doctors are really great! BUT (and this is a BIG but) their scheduling and billing is ridiculous. So here's the problem. We needed to reschedule our appointment to get in sooner. I decided to go on a walk during my lunch break and give them a call. You know, get some fresh air and take care of business. Well, I was informed that there was a balance of $30 that was owed (and was billed literally 2 days ago) and they refused to reschedule until I paid the balance. The amount I owed was not a problem but I didn't have my wallet with me. They refused to make the appointment until I paid my LARGE 30 dollar balance and were very rude about it. If the doctors weren't so good, I'd go somewhere else because their customer service SUCKS.

William Hatch is amazing!!! Reese Loveless made me feel very uncomfortable, gave me the wrong prescription, and made fun of me during the visit. The office started charging an extra fee on the annual eye exam if you wear contacts, so i decided to find another office that does not add that charge.
Update: The office called me and made me feel worse about my visit by implying I didn't remember my experience accurately or understand. I will never be coming back to this office. And highly disappointed how this call was handled.

For being a pediatric optometrist Dr. Yeates lacks charisma with children.
Left my child sitting in a bright waiting room after dialating their eyes. Most doctors turn down the lights for you.
Ended up putting too many of the dialating drops in my child's eyes and they stayed dilated for days!
The way they manage the office was also disappointing.

The doctor was great. Unfortunately I had to remove myself as a patient and will need to find a new eye doctor. They contacted my emergency contact to pay an over due bill of $60 after insurance made a payment. Super unprofessional. Utah is so strange, I thought emergency contacts were for medical emergencies?

We had the best experience with Dr. Henriksen! I have a son with Autism and Dr. Henriksen (and Ammon) were both so kind and considerate of my son. They were able to keep his attention and help him quickly.
We had an experience with another doctor that seemed impatient and annoyed with my son's special needs, and it always helps when the doctors are patient and kind.

If you take your children here, check carefully. My son was prescribed the wrong glasses and no one took responsibility. I had to pay another clinic to get a proper prescription and checkup. This clinic had terrible service.

Brought my 4-year-old here a while back and we saw Dr Yeates. He was great at getting to the root of the problem. He was quiet and answered my questions, overall great experience. I wouldn't say he was very... like playful or friendly, kinda what you'd would expect from a pediatric certified doctor, he was just quiet but he's amazing at what he does. I recently had an issue with my eye and was seen by Dr Hatch. He ran test after test to figure out why I had pain in my eye. I spent 2 hours while he did everything to make sure there was no stone left unturned and I left feeling confident in his diagnosis. 10/10 would recommend these guys for your eye needs.
