DON'T GO TO MILTON FAMILY EYECARE! THEY TAKE MONEY FOR GLASSES AND CONTACTS AND YOU MAY NEVER GET THEM! Dr. Marconi is excellent, but he does not own the business. It's owned by the front desk woman, Kim Bourdeau of Milton. On June 22, 2018 I had my exam, and paid for a year supply of contact lenses ($300). Of course they have to order the lenses. After 17 days no lenses were mailed to me as Bourdeau had told me. They were supposed to take 10 days or less to be delivered to me. I called and Bourdeau gave the excuse that she forgot to order them, but assured me she would order them that day. I waited another 3 weeks, no lenses! Now when I call all I get is voicemail that is never returned. E-Mail receives no reply as well. It's now been 60 days since my visit and no lenses, no returned calls or e-mails. I'm filing a fraud/scam complaint with the Vermont Attorney General's Office. Please read all reviews from many different websites. You will find MANY people who have had the same treatment. If you are a victim of this company file a complaint. The Vermont A.G. investigates all submissions. One note, this business was formerly known as "Irish Eyes Optician" and in Essex Junction. That business is now closed, but was also owned by Bourdeau. You will find similar reviews of people paying for glasses and contacts and never receiving any reply, or the items they paid for.

Ordered glasses at their new location Milton (Old name: Irish Eyes -Essex Jct) in December, they never called me to let me know if they were in, finally went in in May and they said they were lost in the mail. I asked for a refund. It has been months and still no refund. They don't return calls or emails. I might have to take them to court. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureal and they refused to respond to the BBB, these people will even ignore the government.

I was home for 3 weeks in March/April before moving back to a Chicago and this facility was the only facility that accepted my insurance. I was expecting my contacts to arrive the following week. After several unanswered phone calls I decided to go in. The woman at the desk Kim Bourdeau told me that the distribution center was out of stock. She took down my address in Chicago and said they would be shipped there. They never arrived. Again, I had several unanswered phone calls. Finally my mom was able to get a hold of them and Kim Bourdeau have my mother a tracking number. I used the tracking number to attempt to locate my contacts in transit but it came up as a false tracking number. For months I left voicemail after voicemail, having only 3 paid of contacts to last the next 5 months until my new insurance kicked. I decided to go online recently and see if they had their hours of operation posted only to find not only that they don't but that there are numerous reviews with similar experiences. And additionally, this same woman previously owned another eye care facility with similar issues. I called one last time asking if I could get my my contact and glasses prescription from them, no response. My mother physically went in today to get to the bottom of it. First she got my prescriptions and then told Kim Bourdeau that we never recieved the contacts and would need reimbursement. She asked she had a receipt but never even looked at before she took $50 from her own purse (very bizarre) and then gave my mom 3 contact lenses, not 3 pairs, 3 single lenses. This place is clearly a scam and I'm not even sure the eye doctor is aware. This woman needs to be investigated by the Vermont Attorney General and Better Business Beaurau.

I love this eye Drs office cause of the price of the glass or contact and she will work with you on the cost if you can't pay for them up front... I have been trying to get trans glass for many years and could not afford them cause the cost was close around $300.00 or more. For my glasses today was $200.00 now I will have glasses and sun glasses at the same time. She would even let me put down $25.00 a week then when I had $100.00 she would order them. She very friendly and very nice and not into to make money... I will never go anywhere else for my glasses or eye Care.

I walked in one day after work to see if they could fix my nose pad that fell off. I asked if they took adult Medicaid and I ended up leaving there with an appointment on the same day. It took two weeks to get my glasses and it was well worth the wait. Best pair of glasses I've had in a long time.

This practice has changed locations and telephone number to Essex Junction near five corners. None of this information was online so things were a little confusing, as my insurance only had 2 providers for my area. Once I figured everything out I made an appointment. I soon discovered all the negative reviews so I went in skeptic and little defensive. I got the scripts I needed for both lenses/frames and they were very helpful along the process. Not a perfect experience due to the booking confusion, but I left satisfied and had everything I wanted.

These folks are the worst service providers I have ever encountered! Not only did we wait over 6 weeks to receive the glasses, but it actually took threatening them with a report to the State of VT to get them to respond to us when were attempting to pick the glasses up. In addition, we received an invoice a year after the fact for services we believed we had paid for. Said invoice made no sense at all and when I called for an explanation, I was advised that they had a new accounting system that they didn't understand, and maybe they shouldn't have sent the invoice, but we did owe the money. Awaiting documentation and proof of the validity of charges now. The place is a joke and the people that manage it are the worst customer service providers I have ever encountered. Run away!

Don't trust them to put in an order for you. After 90 days of waiting for them to order glasses from my exam they gave me sob story after sob story of why the order was lost. They would not return calls and finally I had to go to the door to get a refund. Definitely did not like being lied to and mislead!
