Dr. Pinard was incredibly respectful to me, He kept me talking which took my mind off the exam, and the whole experience was quite comfortable for me. He questioned me about health issues in a way that was insightful and dare I say thoughtful. The rest of the staff we're also most respectful and quite nice especially reception who were the highlight of my time there. I will never use another practice again.

This about the Newport facility. For the past 9 years we have been using the Newport facility. The doctors and staff have always been efficient and nice.
This last visit was less than fulfilling however. My insurance covers all but a $10 co-pay for single vision lenses. The office argued that I needed to pay $62 because they won't sell me lenses that match the $10 co-pay.
You better know that I will, from now on, always have my benefit book with me when I go in for glasses. I was told, "well, I guess if you pay $10, then you only pay $10." That's a pretty cold way to treat a long time family.

Dr Pinard was incredibly disrespectful to my child. He kept pushing them to talk when it was obvious they weren't comfortable with him. He questioned them about health issues in a way that was inappropriate and had nothing to do with the exam. And he refused to use their correct pronouns. We will never use this practice again.
