Called to see if they were accepting new patients. Not even a friendly greeting to phone call. "Who are you seeing?" No one I'm asking to see one of your doctors ". I go to Wal-Mart optometrist and my vision is deteriorating. The bulldog that answered the phone said, "have them send your records and we will say yay or nay." Wow, as a retired Nurse practitioner I can tell you I have found this to be extremely rude and unprofessional. Can't wait to move out of this state. Take Down Your Be Kind signs. It's hypocrisy.
Absolutely the most unprofessional staff. Requested an appointment thru MyChart , previously seen , refused to schedule unless I called. I have an auto immune disorder that if untreated could cause blindness. Didn't matter . Asked for a supervisor who couldn't handle her way out of a paper bag. No appointment, refused to call in my prescription, almost blind in my left eye. All because DEB couldn't handle an upset patient who couldn't get her prescription refilled.
While the Opthemologist is wonderful this office is awful. The most unhelpful staff I have ever dealt with. Apparently you have to talk to a specific person to schedule appointments for different doctors and if they're not there you can't schedule. Not everyone is home first thing in the morning when they call you back. Some of us have lives. I have never been unable to make an appointment just because one person is not there at the time. Its ridiculous. I've been trying to set an appointment for days. They need to update their system and get a competent staff to set their appointments.
I've come here for seven years now for issues with my eyes and I feel like I couldn't have found a better place to be taken care of. I've recommended family and friends visit for their own needs as well, and I would never do so unless I believed they were the very best of the best.
These people are excellent
to deal with. They are polite and professional with our putting on airs. I enjoy my visits .
Very nice people. Doctor is thorough
