I had cataract surgery on both eyes, a week apart. Dr Brophey and his team did an outstanding job. Everything from assessment and scheduling through to follow-up was efficient and professional.The vision in my right eye was 20/25 after 24 hours, and the left eye-a week later-was 20/20 about 18 hours out. Thank you all so much!

I had been a patient of Dr. Brophey's for numerous years, and was always completely satisfied with the care I received from him. A few years back, while contemplating cataract surgery (polar cataracts) he saw that I was concerned and apprehensive about the timing of my surgery, and suggested I get a second opinion; which I ended up doing. I truly respect the fact that Dr. Brophey cared enough back then to even make that suggestion. Without going into all the details, I am happy to say that I am again a patient of his. I very much appreciate his welcoming me back with the same concern I experienced with him for so many years. He is truly a professional in every sense of the word, and I am looking forward to once again being under his care. I would recommend his services to anyone, without reservation.

My sunglasses broke and I went in to look at their selection. I am not a patient, but just moved nearby. I looked at the website first and it said no appointment was necessary to look at sunglasses. I saw the sunglasses section and was looking only a few seconds before an employee approached and said she needed to "create a profile". I said I was just looking. She said "it is mandatory". I said I wasn't interested in doing that and asked her if she wanted me to leave? She said no. A minute later I heard someone repeating my conversation, so I guess they were talking about me, loud enough for me to hear. I picked out two sunglasses and was going to decide which, then purchase. The one I was leaning towards was $189. Another employee approached and asked if I checked in at the desk. The vibe was I had better have done that. I said no. She said I needed my name to help me. They were making it too weird. I left.
