Drs. Grau and Grau are both very professional and very personable. I go to them for my own eye care and I recently took my daughters, ages 7 and 10, for checkups also. Both doctors are easy to talk to, knowledgeable about eye care, and make you feel like you are in good hands. I have been using their services for about 10 years and have always been pleased with the short wait time and the care I received.

Dr.'s Grau & Grau and staff were absolutely excellent to me, with a complete exam, more than any other optomitrist has done for me, they took really great care of me. The office staff and Dr.'s were kind and caring, asking me what I felt comfortable doing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an eye physician to go too!

I was new to the Abingdon area and was unsure which eye doctor to schedule an appointment with. I chose Dr. Grau based on a recommendation from one of my new friends. I am so glad I did. He is an excellent doctor. He took his time and answered my questions. I needed glasses for computer work and sewing. He was able to provide this for me. Not only was I pleased with Dr. Grau, but I was also pleased with the lady assisting me with new frames. She was not pushy and allowed me plenty of time to choose the frames I wanted. I highly recommend Dr. Grau and his office staff. They are extremely nice and so helpful.

I had a poor experience with Amy Keene. She was quite rude and condescending in some of her remarks to me and shared personal health information in a common area in view and earshot of the waiting room which I did not appreciate. When I canceled my next appointment, she did call to discuss my concerns but only did not acknowledge her rude behavior and only offered excuses so the call was not really helpful. I definitely could not recommend her.
