Everyone I interacted with in anyway was extremely professional, friendly, even happy! They explained each step throughly. Loved Dr Sykes - he explained what he was doing, what he found and even why certain treatments might be better than others for me personally. The optician (I am sorry, I cannot remember her name), made shopping for the right glasses fun. I never thought getting an eye exam could be that enjoyable! I highly recommend.

I had a good experience at envision eye care. They took me in for my appointment right on time, there was no waiting. I feel like I got a thorough examination. Dr. Rasnick reviewed and explained the results of my tests with me The front desk was very efficient and ordered the contact lenses for me.

I have an eye infection. The Doctor was very nice and efficient. He prescribed antibiotics, I went to my pharmacy and alerted them about my incoming prescription, I'll be back to pick up. Ended up waiting one hour, no prescription. The staff did not send it in. Office was closed. Not happy. Doctor good, staff not so much. I've been with this office over 25 years.

Envision Eye Care in Abingdon is amazing! I haven't been to an eye doctor for 25 years. Haven't had the need. I had an emergency eye issue and they fit me in same day. Great place to go !!! Staff is super helpful with everything in that office . Dr Sykes was so professional and very easy to talk to. He explained everything in depth and went over all options for your best eye care. The front staff could not be sweeter. The ladies in the back go over everything you are getting ready to do for your visit. I would recommend this office for all ages !!

No, thank you, for not accepting my vision insurance card. I chose this office because they are an in-network provider and near my home. However, I was surprised to find that they not only requested my eye vision details but also my health insurance card. This was confusing to me, as I am not seeking treatment for a health issue; I simply need an eye exam for glasses. The purpose of the eye exam is to assess a person's vision and overall eye health, potentially detecting vision problems and other eye health issues early on. If there are any eye health issues, they can discuss further appointments, and I can choose whether to continue with them or seek care elsewhere. They informed me that without a health insurance card, I would be billed for eye health services. I explained that I do not possess a health card since I am covered under my husband's military plan. Regardless, if they intend to charge me solely for a basic eye exam, I regret to say that I will seek services elsewhere that will accept my eye vision insurance. In contrast, other optometrist offices typically provide the cost of the eye exam upfront, they did not. It is essential for an optometrist office to be transparent about the costs associated with a basic eye exam, comprehensive exams, and any additional tests or procedures. Fortunately, my insurance includes numerous in-network providers, so I returned to the optometrist clinic I visited last year, where they accepted my eye vision insurance card without requesting my health insurance card.
