Dr. Sara Varghai , O.D

I saw good reviews but was immensely disappointed. The optometrist was shouty and impatient, the eye exam seemed smaller than usual, and in the end the optometrist changed my prescription too much; it is too strong. The optometrist gave me contacts to trial but the optician made me choose after wearing them for 30 minutes. You cannot return frames if you don't like them as you can in most places and the staff constantly upsold me on more items and made a big thing about making sure my glasses fit my face as if no one else does this correctly. This place was triple what I've paid in other places in the area and all I got were frames I don't like and can't wear and contacts I never got to fairly trial.

Sara was incredibly kind and thorough. I order my contacts through 1- 800 contacts and they had convinced me on the phone to get the brand of contacts that was cheaper, but would be better moisture wise. I had been prescribed a newer brand by Sara and so I called her office to ask if they could change the prescription to the older cheaper brand, and rather than just approve it, she asked if I could come in and confirm that the older brand actually works for me. I did, and realized I didn't like it in comparison than what she had originally prescribed. Even though I am not buying my contacts through her, she took the time to do this and ensure the comfort for my eyes. I have never had an eye doctor be so thorough. I have gone to Visionworks and other chain brands, and nothing compares to this level of care.

Had a great experience on my first visit with Dr. Varghai. She's really thorough, friendly, and to the point! Office staff was really helpful too!

Inaccurately advertised about the insurance being accepted on line. Very misleading and once you show up for the appointment, they give you an option to pay full out of your pocket to see a dr. Not very professional!
