I wanted to express my appreciation for the exceptional care I received during my eye exam. The staff were very nice and compassionate, especially considering my mobility needs as a wheelchair user. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience - thank you!

Front desk staff and doctor were great! I was mildly surprised to get really good customer service and attention from the dr. Service in the U.S. is on the decline. Very much appreciated the experience with Steer Optical.

Right when I entered the office, I was warmly greeted by Ella, the receptionist. Then, the young man was ready to do the preliminary testing and put me at ease, very competently guiding me through the testing machines. The optometrist, Dr Esther Cohen, called me right away, for the rest of the tests and consultation. Dr Cohen was very warm and was very professional and could handle all of my issues and concerns with ease. This is a great place for eye care!

Excellent experience at Steer Optical in Pentagon City Mall. The check-in team was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and professional. I was seen by Dr. Hugh Steer, O.D. very quickly. Dr. Steer was knowledgeable, informative, and personable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The entire visit was comfortable and efficient. I highly recommend this location.

Last year when I visited this place, the experience was excellent. The gentleman and the woman who assisted me were genuinely kind, and Dr. Steel was outstanding. Unfortunately, this year has been the complete opposite. The first doctor who treated me was openly rude and only corrected her behavior after being confronted. Then came the issue with the receptionist, Z. Her passive-aggressive attitude, sarcasm, and unprofessional tone are completely unacceptable for any medical practice...let alone one she does not own. No patient should ever be spoken to or treated the way she handled things. This level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is deeply concerning and needs to be addressed.

Thank you for being so thorough in conducting all aspects of my visit and exam. I truly felt heard and that my needs were being met from squeezing me in a bit earlier to exploring different options to find the right prescription and fit. This is how you create loyal clients.
