Steer Optical

I had an appointment on Sunday 12/7/25, which was great since weekend appointments are not common for most services. The visit was top notch from beginning to end. The front desk staff member and the technician were professional, efficient, and personable. Dr. Dawn Williams was outstanding as a care provider and genuinely warm and engaging. She was knowledgeable and did an excellent job conveying information in layman's terms. As someone who doesn't tend to enjoy medical appointments, this was a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.

I was very impressed as before, this appointment was not my first and of course will not be my last. The professionalism of the staff and the doctor was very informative. I was also impressed with the new up to date technology. I enjoyed my eye appointment.

There was a lady there with really cool oval glasses who assisted me today. She was very sweet and honest. I felt welcomed and confident leaving with a pair of glasses I liked. I've had difficulties in the past with other places. I think her name was Michelle. Im going to continue going to this place because of her.

Dr. Steer and his staff were fantastic. I was in and out quickly, and felt like all my questions were answered confidently and professionally. I definitely would recommend and will return for any future optometry needs.

Needed a new optometrist after a couple years, and Dr. Steer was great! Very fast and efficient while still providing quality care. The receptionist was really kind and patient. The location is so convenient. 5 stars!

Not a great experience. Friendly enough faces but just poor communication. I arrive for my exam and it takes 15+ minutes for me to be seen with no one there. Machine issues. Ok. Initially agreed but declined the contact fitting before I was seen. Had a lot of time to think about it. Was clear and the guy repeated it back to me. Went to the first room, was told instructions but not what we were doing. I shouldn't have to ask if this is the optomap. The optometrist was friendly enough but after a first appointment, I shouldn't be the first one to ask if I have an astigmatism or not. Turns out I do, in both eyes, which was new information to me. I also feel I shouldn't have to ask the results of my optomap. These things should be clearly presented before I'm asked if I have any questions. On my way out the door, turns out the same guy did want to charge for the contact fitting I declined. During the exam, I wasn't told which part of it was lenses and which part of it was contacts or I would have mentioned it. Or my preferences should have been communicated. Glad others had a good and professional experience but it was my first and last time there.

Dr. Steer is very friendly! The exam was thorough and explained each step of the exam. My family will be back next year! Thank you!
