Magnolia Eye Center

I moved here from Florida. I "lucked out" with Magnolia Eye Center. I had an appointment within two weeks. The staff was cordial and professional. The assistant explained his credentials and that he'd worked in his field for 11years. That helped me understand that I was in a well-served facility. The good feelings continued as I met Dr Patrick Bradley. He was pleasant and efficient. He didn't rush through. He was thorough and answered all my questions. I have referred him to two of my friends!

The entire practice is amazing. From the receptionist to Dr Bradley himself. Every person I came in contact with was not only professional but kind and helpful. I received the most thorough eye examination I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Dr Bradley and Magnolia eye care.

I initially saw Dr Bradley for evaluation of my cataracts. He did a thorough eye exam & asked pertinent questions regarding my ability to read in average lighting, ability for nighttime driving and in the rain, etc. I was pleasantly surprised that the cataracts were developed enough for removal. His supporting staff is very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Everyone was able to answer my questions and explain the cataract removal. My pre-op visit was handled with the same professionalism as the initial visit. I felt comfortable with Bree as she explained the surgical experience in detail. Dr Bradley helped me understand the pros and cons of each lens option. He is a good listener as I talked about my challenging vision. He was able to guide me in making an informed decision about the best lens option for my situation. I want to thank everyone (receptionist, technicians and physician) for their expert care I received while at the Magnolia Eye Center!

Unhappy by the fact that they didn't post any public announcement as to if they were opening late or closing due to inclement weather. I understand closing due to safety reasons, but at least call your scheduled patients or put a simple message or even update the website. I've waited well over a month for this appointment only to hear nothing. I did call the day before to check what their inclement weather policy and was told "if we answer then we're here." Edit: Updating my original review to better reflect the situation and to 4 stars. There seems to be some miscommunication on my end however I stand by my stance that some form of public communication should be put out if the office is opening delayed or not at all. I am assuming that they called patients early in the morning if they had appointments early in the morning. However my appointment was at 2pm, I live 2 hours away. It's difficult to plan accordingly when you call the building and do not know if they are opening late or not opening at all because there is no one there. I did not receive a phone call, I am assuming because my appointment was in the afternoon. Once I arrived the staff was professional and courteous. The facilities seem modern, well kept, and clean. The doctor is the first to actually give me a correct explanation of what's going on with my particular situation and to come up with an action plan. I will be returning and would recommend them to others.

The staff at magnolia eye care was beyond wonderful. They were caring and professional. The facility was clean, organized and so easy to manage to maneuver around, for someone like myself who has to use a cane. Dr. Bradley was prompt and professional, quick to quell my concerns and make sure I understood what my procedure would entail. I know I am in good hands.

I am so happy that we chose Magnolia Eye Surgery to do my Cataract surgery. Everyone who works there is so kind and welcoming and I feel that they really care about their patients. It is a long drive from Blacksburg to Roanoke and back but we feel that it is worth it to get such good treatment. Dr. Bradley takes his time to make sure that we understand everything he is doing to help me with my sight and I appreciate it so much. My son has decided to have surgery there so he can go without glasses. Thank you Magnolia Eye Center.

I honestly can't say enough positive things about my experience. Teresa was very helpful when scheduling my appointment. She even offered to email the paperwork so that I could fill it out in advance. I was greeted by Bree who signed me in and offered both my husband and myself something to drink. Not just the usual coffee or water, they also had HOT CHOCOLATE. Next, I had the pleasure of working with Emily. She did my initial exam. She was polite and professional. Her positive energy definitely helped to lower my anxiety. Dr. Bradley took his time in explaining to me what was causing my vision issues and was kind in saying it happens after "Many birthdays". That definitely brought a smile to my face. They deserve more than 5 stars!! Hoping for mini marshmallows on the next visit or even hot cider.

I am very impressed with the staff and Dr. Bradley. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The staff is professional and caring, all my questions were answered, my surgery went successfully. I would feel confident in recommending Magnolia Eye center for your vision care needs.
