I am writing to express my frustration regarding my recent experience. I feel that the communication regarding my follow-up appointment was inadequate, leading to unnecessary confusion. Furthermore, I was disappointed to be charged both a copay and an insurance fee for a situation I believe resulted from a lack of clear instruction from the office. I felt the focus was more on administrative charges than on my care. Given this experience, I would advise others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with any medical procedures here

Unprofessional/ uncaring/ inconsiderate of patient issues/ uncomfortable with speaking with a long time patient regarding finances/ I was never looking for a discount or special privilege/ basically had a question pertaining to the WHY! Don't owe this facility anything! Never had Never will! All of my doctors & me have a up close & personal relationship where as we can discuss a issue & resolve the discrepancy in a timely manner!! All they want at NoVa eye care is to get you to commit to cataract surgery! This establishment is over rated... Don't waste your time! There are several qualified ophthalmologist in No Va that care enough to communicate with there patients Job well done Dr Patel

My mother (who is 87) has been a patient of Dr. Patel for several years. She has always received excellent care. Dr. Patel is patient with her and takes the time to listen to her questions and any concerns. Her knowledge and skills with eye conditions, health and eye care are notably high (from the patient perspective). Dr. Patel provides options on treatment, with the pros and cons, and does not push a procedure, but rather provides the patient with the information, encourages questions and ultimately leading to the patient's choice based on the relevant factors. My mother trusts her as do I and we are very pleased with her care.

Dr Patel is truly a professional and personable doctor. She performed cataract surgery and I had no pain at all. She explained the procedure and the follow up, and I've already scheduled the procedure for the other eye. Mindy was wonderful about answering any questions I had as well.

I had cataracts in both eyes impacting my vision. I had laser correction and PanOptix lenses installed in each eye two weeks apart. My vision has been restored to better than 20/20. My vision is clear, colors are vibrant and bright. Thank you Dr. Patel for the new view of life and restoring my vision. The office staff was excellent and helpful. Costs and expectations were provided in advance. I had no concerns, issues or complications. Thank you and I would certainly seek out Dr. Patel for any future vision needs

Dr. Patel is the best ever!! I had a Hyper mature cataract that totally blocked my vision in my right eye. She did a fantastic job on my cataract without Lasek surgery or me having any anesthesia! I felt nothing! Will be returning to her for my left eye has a cataract as well.

I knew I needed cataract surgery when I contacted Dr Patel. After examining my eyes, she told me my options and helped me pick the correct lens for each eye She said I might have 20-20 vision. .I also had laser surgery. My second eye was done a week ago and I now DO indeed have 20-20 vision. She is an AWESOME DOCTOR

This review is for the office staff only. My aunt never had the opportunity to see the doctor. After waiting an hour past the appointment time, she was told it's standard policy for patients to wait at least that long to see the doctor. She was then told to never come back after she expressed her frustrations about the delay. The office policy should be first come first serve, there's no reason to make appointments if patients are expected to wait.
