I've been a patient at Dr. Allen's practice for over 10 years, and the service has remained the same: outstanding. Dr. Slavin is an amazing doctor, who approaches every exam with thoroughness and professionalism. The staff is always superb, and I've never received anything but the best of service from everyone at the office. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Allen and his wonderful staff worked patiently and diligently with me for a year to make sure I got the right prescription for contacts to help with my distance vision!!! I was highly impressed and grateful for Dr. Allen's commitment to quality care. His support staff were a delight to work with as well. If you want quality eye care, this is the place to go!

I have been going to Dr. Allen for at least 20 years. I have been more than satisfied with my visits and service. He's friendly and is extremely professional. Several of my friends also see him and have been customers for years. Dr. Allen is up-to-date and very knowledgeable in his field and provides the best customer service. I will continue to recommend him to friends or anyone who needs a good optometrist.

It was my first experience with Dr. Allen's office and I met with Dr. Jennifer Sun who immediately put me at ease. She was both courteous and professional and I was pleased with the thoroughness of the exam she conducted. As an older adult (65+) I would definitely recommend these services to ensure continued eye health.

Dr. Allen is a wonderful optometrist and has been my eye doctor for many years and since his Ashburn office first opened. He is professional, friendly, and cares. I have been to both locations - mostly Chantilly - and wear contact lenses and glasses. My contacts are delivered to my house. My last pair of eyeglasses came from next door (co-located with Dr. Allen's practice) at Eye Street Optical in Chantilly. They have a great selection and professional help. The staff on both sides has always been very nice, and they are good at working with my insurance provider. Would recommend going here! Updated May 10, 2018 simply to say am still extremely pleased with the service, time, and attention given by Dr. Allen and his staff, as well as the adjacent optical center. Highly recommend. Update: Still highly recommend Dr. Allen's practice. I was having a little trouble with the fit of my eyeglasses (love them). I mentioned to Dr. Allen, and he has someone from the optical practice adjust them for me. They took out the lenses, molded the frame to fit my face, and put the lenses back in. My eyeglasses felt much more comfortable and no more troubles. No fee. Extremely helpful. Great service, friendly, and they really care about their patients. Updated August 2019: Same feedback: Wonderful service with Dr. Allen and his staff. Continue to recommend. Updated February 2020: Still love going to Dr. Allen's office! Great care and very professional. My husband is also a patient. Highly recommend. Updated August 2020: Still loving this practice! Dr. Allen and his staff are caring, polite, and very helpful. I have been holding off my next appointment due to COVID and because I help take care of an older parent. They have been so flexible and accommodating. I really appreciate their service and highly recommend.

Tiffany and the front office staff always greet me by name and offer a warm smile. Misty, the office manager, and I live in the same neighborhood and she goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. On numerous occasions she has volunteered to bring items home with her in order to save me a trip to the office. Dr. Allen is very thorough and is never rushed for time. It is reassuring to know that my eye care is in such reliable hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Allen and his practice for over 18 years. The care that he and his staff personally exhibit are superb and rank with the best health care I have received throughout my life. Last week I visited the practice out of a concern for a pressure-like feeling in one of my eyes. Dr. Allen was attending a conference so I saw Dr. Patel (for the first time). The personal care and attention of Misty, Brooke and Dr. Patel were all indicative of the concern and leadership that Dr. Allen exhibits and demands of his team. Dr. Patel was thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned. I left that appointment relieved and confident that her very thorough exam found nothing wrong.

I have been going to Dr. Allen for well over 10 years! He is an amazing Doctor. I trust no one else more with my eyes than him. Very easy going, friendly, and caring. He definitely puts his patients first. I recommend anyone I meet looking for an eye Dr. to go to him.
