Walmart Vision & Glasses

This visit was a red flag from the start of a phone call to book an appointment. The eye doctor himself conducted the phone call where he argued about what my insurance covers versus doesn't, however I spoke with my insurance prior to calling for an appointment and I have used my insurance prior with no issues. He decided to give me a discount if I paid cash, I have no issue at this point. I come in for appointment,all seemed okay until the testing begins and there was a teenager doing the testing but was not done correctly(I've gone to eye doctor for 30 plus years....you know at this point if testing is sketchy). I see the eye doctor and I instantly wanted to leave. This man decided to tell me it's impossible to be allergic to milk as I would be dead if my mother breast fed me......crickets go off in my head and I'm like Jesus fix it. Then tells me I have old eyes and I need bifocal. He gives me a pair of contacts after telling me I was wrong about the brand I am used to wearing......another huge red flag. The contacts were not right,my vision was blurry and I could not focus. I also requested to have a toric lense as night time driving is near impossible with my astigmatism but was met with I don't know what I am talking about. My prescription according to him was a -4.50 in both eyes and a bifocal lense of +1.25 I went to my eye doctor in VA BCH that i have seen for 20 plus years. My prescription is a -3.50 both eyes with a toriclense to correct astigmatism and I do not need bifocals anytime soon. I recommend anyone seeing this eye doctor to get a second opinion, your eyes deserve the best care and this guy isn't it.
