I have been a client of Eye Care & Surgery for almost 25 years. My experience from the time I enter with the receptionist to my exit has been excellent. All staff are very professional and efficient. Dr. Thompson is thorough in his exam, explains what condition my eyes are in and suggests what may or may not be needed. He has done my cataracts and lens replacement. Dr. Thompson and his staff are the best.

I have been a patient for several years. Doctors and staff are always friendly, courteous and professional. Very clean and comfortable waiting area. I have experienced no long wait times but at the same time have never felt rushed through. My questions and or concerns merit their time to address. Dr. Thompson did my cataract surgery 6 years ago and my eyes are still doing fine with only low strength reading glasses. Glasses can also be purchased there.

Dr. Thompson was thorough in his examination of my eyes. He was professional, helpful and addressed all my concerns. He helped me save money on my next contacts order.

It was easy to get an appointment. The staff were very professional. The doctor was personable and answered all my questions. I needed to get glasses, and that was handled very efficiently, and that person was very friendly and helpful.

The optical department was wonderful. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Greg is the best optician and is always so patient with all of our questions. We would not trust our eyes to anyone else. Tammy thank you for all your help.

I've been going to Eye Care & Surgery for a long time...probably close to 20 years (maybe longer)...specifically Dr Thompson. Easy to schedule appts...and it's easy on the day of your appointment...their entire staff are wonderful! And they have several convenient locations...I wouldn't think of going anywhere else...other than one of their locations!

I was disappointed that when I made the appointment the staff could not tell me that I needed to wear my contact lenses for the exam and then wear my glasses. They also could not tell me if I was scheduled to be dilated. I am very migraine sensitive and asked them to only do this as needed. Upon arrival of the exam I was told I needed to wear the contacts and then wear my glasses out and that I would have to be dilated. I only wore my glasses as I knew if I was dilated, the lenses and glaucoma drops would be possible irritants. I was offered reconstricting drops for $20 a drop, which have not worked for me, and are cost prohibitive and I knew my insurance would not cover a "designer drug". The tech was kind and only administered one drop of dilation solution but I was feeling dizzy and my vision was blurry within five minutes. I was asked to sit in a room with lights after being dilated and turned the lights out myself. I was defensive with the doctor because I was uncomfortable and feeling like I could not see which sent me into a panic. Everything in my vision had an aura. When I shared this concern with the doctor, she did not give me any feedback that was meaningful or helpful. I was instead given a lecture about how this was the only way to test for healthy eyes. And then told that I needed to schedule my appointments for later in the afternoon so I had a chance to "sleep it off". I have been searching for a new eye doctor and if this is the level of empathy/help I get from this office, I don't want to return. I was also charged for a contact lens exam and did not put in contacts at all in the visit. I also was not given a prescription for contacts only for glasses.

The receptionist was extremely nice. The assistant was nice and seemed interested in my new symptoms. The doctor was pleasant but rushed through the exam. I felt like she might have missed something. Evenso, I will return to this office.
