I found both the receptionist and Dr. Marquardt very personable and professional. Dr. Marquardt was very candid, which I really value in a doctor. He took the time to explain things a in detail, and his genuine concern for my eye health was apparent. I'm very glad I chose this office and will certainly be returning for future visits.

Just moved to the area and was able to get an appointment within a few days. Dr. McCormack and her assistant were both very nice and did an excellent job of making you feel comfortable. The office and equipment were cleaned in front of you to make you feel safe during this time of Covid. The exam was thorough and you can't beat the price! I will be a return customer for sure!

Dr. McCormack and her staff are friendly and efficient. I've been to the office twice now and both of my appointments were on time and thorough. The office is also super convenient if you have a Costco membership and want to check out their options for glasses.

The assistant at the front was great, super nice. I would love to come back and have an appointment with Dr. McCormack based on these reviews but I will not be back to see Dr. Terry. I went into the exam being as polite as possible and most every response was met with sarcasm. I couldn't hear him through the mask and after saying "I'm sorry?" Several times he became noticeably annoyed. Couple that with a lecture about contacts (since my answer of "about 30 days" wasn't good enough...) and I was ready to just leave. I appreciate them seeing me so soon, but I will more than likely not come back.

I was recently seen at the Harrisonburg location by Dr. Terry Marquardt. He was thorough and concise with his exam and provided beneficial information regarding contact wear. I was able to be scheduled quickly and the technician Michaela was very helpful. Overall, great experience.

I had an excellent experience at this office with Dr. Terry. He was patient with me as he helped me with bifocal contacts. I didn't even know that they made this kind of contacts. Dr. Terry is very knowledgeable but not condescending and funny too. I will definitely return to this office.

Giving this office 1 star is way more than should be given. 0 stars is more accurate. I saw a male doctor at this office. I have never been talked down to or belittle this much at a doctors office and I've been wearing glasses since I was 6. I asked for a sample pair of contacts in my Rx and the doctor said the sample he gave me was close enough and he wasn't going to order the correct Rx. He bent down and waving his hands talked to me like I was a 5 year old, explaining the Rx was close enough and to wear them for comfort not for vision. If I liked how they felt then when I ordered the correct Rx it would be even better vision. I've never been told I couldn't have a trial in my exact Rx to make sure I liked the fit AND the Rx before ordering contacts. I called the office back letting them know I'd like my money back so I can go to somewhere else to get an exam with someone who wouldn't talk down to me. The receptionist said she would look into it and never got back to me. I called back and spoke to the receptionist again and she said they were not going to refund me my money. I would NEVER go back to this office. I paid out of pocket and went to the optometrist at the Walmart on Burgess Rd and saw Dr. Steven M Vest. Both the doctor and the receptionist were thorough, complete, kind and helpful. If you want to be spoken to like you're an adult and treated kindly I highly recommend NOT going to Dr. Brandy McCormack's office. You could probably go anywhere else and get better service.
