Kapil G. Kapoor, MD, FACS, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery. He treats patients for a variety of eye conditions and diseases including macular disease and diabetic retinopathy at the Wagner Macula & Retina Center, located in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia and North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degrees in Biology, Psychology, and Health Sciences graduating Magna Cum Laude, and completed medical school at The Ohio State University. He then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston, where he completed his residency in ophthalmology as Co-Chief Resident. Dr. Kapoor furthered his training with a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
