After many years with the same eye doctor who unfortunately closed down, i booked an appointment with Dr. Carlos. Great appointment, she is informative, through and explains your particlat case in detail. This is a well equipped eye practice and all the folks working there were helpful and super friendly. Also, the appointment ran on time which i always appreciate when it comes to doctors.

By far, this was the most thorough eye examination I have ever experienced! Even though I was the last appointment for the day, I didn't feel rushed. All my questions were answered, and I felt I could make an informed decision with the type of glasses I would need. The office staff set the tone when I arrived by being very pleasant and helpful with the paperwork process, and the preliminary examination. Being that I was trying to get an examination done before the new year, I drove 45 minutes to get to this location and I'm so glad I did. They even offered me the option of picking up my glasses at a location that was closer to me, but the experience was so pleasant that I told them I wouldn't mind driving back out to Leesburg to pick them up. Such a great way to end the year!

I don't leave many reviews but felt the need to in my circumstance. I did write a letter a month ago to Bermel. I like to try to reach out before leaving a bad review to see if the situation could be sorted out but they never got back to me. I have included the letter that I sent them. Letter of Complaint to Bermel Vision To Whom It May Concern at Bermel Vision, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and eyeglasses and prescription I received from your office. My recent experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations for professional eye care. After my visit to Bermel Vision, I was provided with glasses that did not suit my needs or improve my vision as promised. Despite following your staff's guidance, I continued to have issues with my prescription and the overall fit and comfort of the glasses. My concerns were not fully addressed during my appointments. I had to return 3 times and each visit I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. When I would call and leave messages I was not gotten back to. And, the last visit I was told by your staffer that she was going to reach out to the eyeglass maker and get back to me. I never heard back from anyone. And that was not a surprise to me. As a result, I decided to seek a second opinion from another optician. I am happy to report that they took great care in assessing my vision needs, provided a thorough eye exam, and ensured that I received the correct prescription. The new glasses I received from them fit perfectly and have made a noticeable improvement in my day-to-day life. I am disappointed that Bermel Vision was unable to provide the standard of care I expected. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your services so that future patients do not have the same experience. I visited their office and Dr. Carlos recommended me to their dry eye clinic in fairfax and the experience was great. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. My eyes already feel so much better. I also recently attended their Glow Party which was such a fun experience! Highly recommend--they truly care about their patients and community!
