Just when I thought I couldn't have nice things... Paige and John both assisted me first with my AMAZING progressive sunglasses then day wear glasses. Can I say I have never seen such a wide variety of options in my life!!! The day I received my new glasses was like Christmas morning for me! Then after some wear my day glasses unexpectedly was leaving the bridge of my nose red/sore AND somehow I managed to put a scratch in my beautiful new sun glasses. I thought "I just can't have nice things" I decided to call and chat with Paige who asked me to come in immediately. Much to my surprise she said "no problem" Paige will work her magic on shaving the bridge clip to better fit my thin nose AND fix the scratch in the reflective shades that obviously I caused! I'm going to get my Christmas morning experience all over again when I return to pick up my most beautiful new glasses. Eyetopia is my families go to favorite for glasses, gifts and more. My daughter and I love picking out new glasses. The variety of styles and price points are impressive. Recently I needed a new pair but did not have time to go in. Eyetopia sent me my options by using photoshop to show me what they would look like on my face in pictures. I forwarded my new prescription and in a few days my glasses were ready. All I had to do is go in for one fitting. I was very impressed with the amazing customer service. I walked into Eyetopia hoping to browse frames and maybe find something I liked. Unfortunately, from the very first interaction, it was clear I had made a mistake. I instantly felt unwelcome -- the staff came across as cold and dismissive, almost as if I was an inconvenience. When I asked about the frame brands I was being shown, the response I got was, "We can talk about those when you get your prescription." It felt like a brush-off, and frankly, it was a poor customer experience. I'm not sure if they were trying to gatekeep or hide something, but the lack of basic courtesy was surprising. The whole encounter felt uncomfortable -- possibly even discriminatory. I walked out without buying anything and will not be returning. I'd recommend others think twice before spending their money here.
