St Clair EyeCare

I have gone to St Clair on and off for 35 years. It has always been a great experience over the years. Today Kate was very helpful making sure I knew how much my contacts were going to be and the best way to use my insurance to get the best value.

The level of customer service here is horrible and this is not the first time I've had a negative experience at this location, it is just the worst one. I've been up since 4am suffering from stomach pain that I was hospitalized for a month ago and had to fight to get out of the house to take my children to their appointment. I could have rescheduled but my son has been waiting a year for this appointment in order to get a new pair of glasses so he can take his driving test, so I pushed on. I drove across town in the cold rain still in a lot of pain only to get to the appointment and have to suffer through some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time! From the moment I walked in Kate's demeanor was off-putting, but it only got worse as I progressed through the checkin process. It was like talking to a snake who smiled at you while spitting venom on you. I've never in my life had someone treat me as if I have offended them before even opening my mouth. Finally, after the last snarky remark I asked to speak with her manager, Amy, who she claimed wasn't there so I took her name; cancelled the appointments; said a few choice words to the rude, prune-faced heifer and left! Needless to say I will be finding them a new optometrist which is just fine by me, because I don't live on that side of town anymore and I'm sure there are plenty of optometrist on this side of town that would love our business but I definitely will not patronize a business that encourages and supports the mistreatment of their customers.

Dr. Robin Ayers and the technicians were great to work with. They exhibited courteous, professional, kind demeanors and carefully attended to any questions and concerns. The package prices for glasses and contacts are great!

Showed up for my 10am appointment at 9:50am, and didn't get seen until 10:40am. No one had the courtesy to state that they were running behind schedule. The person that got there after me got seen before me. Not a very professional office. Technicians were calling wrong clients back to be examine and had to be corrected by front desk and clients. Front desk individual are not very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this office.

Dr St Clair is the most compassionate person to his patients! Always takes time to explain everything and you are able to have a chance to ask questions!

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Great group of people and very affordable. Glad I made the switch to them.

Great streamlined services here. Definitely call them to meet all your Eyecare needs!!

Everybody is nice but that one eye doctor he's really rude
