I was grateful to have found someone to treat me so close to a holiday. The office staff was so courteous from my call for an appointment, to helping through procedures and answering all my questions. I was impressed with the front office staff who saw that a patient wasn't following masking protocol after making brief call. I was concerned, but felt really comfortable when the staff quickly and courteously asked him to use his mask keeping us all safer.Dr. Spellman had a friendly and calming demeanor and was sensitive to my anxiety about my issue. I am glad to have found this office.

He did cataract surgery on my right eye... I couldn't believe it I had 20/20 vision right after surgery.., I would Recommend him to anybody... please if you need a Dr. that knows what he's doing please contact him ...he's experienced his bedside manners are great never acts like he's in a hurry... He wants to make sure he answers all your questions... and makes you feel at ease before and during and after your surgery.... I've just had my post op exam and have had both eyes cataracts removed, I have been going to Dr. Spellman for my eyes for several years. He is a very thorough doctor and this procedure was so easy to achieve with total success. Everyone in this office has been nothing but pleasant to deal with. If you are looking for a good Ophthalmologist who is very good in his field and has a friendly, expedient office, this is the place to go.

I am very impressed with everything about this office. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment and his staff is very professional. I just had my second cataract surgery yesterday and my eyesight is wonderful today. Dr. Spellman explained everything about my surgery to me before and answered all of my questions so that I understood exactly what to expect. I would recommend the office and Dr. Spellman to everyone that has an eye issue.

Dr Steven Spellman is an amazing surgeon. I had cataract surgery yesterday and can see so clearly and crisp today. I was watching tv last night after only a few hours from my surgery. Dr. Spellman is fantastic!!!! He has a very clean, friendly office. Everyone speaks to you when you walk in for your appointment,. You don't have a long wait either. I'm usually in and out within 30-45 minutes. Very efficient office. I would strong recommend him to anyone

Dr. Spellman and his office staff are efficient and compassionate. I guess they got it from him! Dr. Spellman made me feel like I had known him forever! He is highly skilled and personable. I highly recommend him (my daughter is also a patient). I wish there were more Dr. Spellmans. He even came to check on me when I was hospitalized! Great man!

Cataract Surgery by Dr. Spellman changed my life! I went from 12 diopter glasses (think 20/2000+) to 20/30 without glasses. He used the most powerful implants available from the manufacturer of the laser. It's been about 6 months and my vision is the best vision of my life. Many days, I work at my computer without glasses all day. I can read music without glasses from 3 feet away. I walk about three miles a day, and don't wear glasses. I am absolutely thrilled. The cool thing is that my vision is still getting better as time goes by. Experience is critically important for a case like mine. There are extra surgical risks with extreme farsightedness because of the size of the eye. I am so glad that I went to Dr. Spellman. To use a sports metaphor, bringing a patient from 12 diopter lenses 20/2000+ to 20/30 is like hitting the winning home run in a World Series game. It just doesn't get better than this.
