Purchased new prescription lenses for Meta Ray-Ban.
My contact, Jill (who is an optician at the Chesterfield Mall, Richmond, VA) was one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I have ever dealt with when making ANY purchase. It was a very busy day at LensCrafters and she took considerable time to assist with fitting and general lens setup. She was extremely knowledgeable of Meta glasses and patiently explained every question I had.
I am so fortunate I picked this location and was assisted by Jill.
I will not go anywhere else in the future.

By far the worst office I've been to in a long time. I work in the medical field and was shocked at the lack of cleanliness. The doctor did not wipe down the equipment properly, he simply used a tissue and alcohol - no disinfectant. The office all around was very dirty from the door when you walk in to the counter at check-in, the chairs, the walls, the rug everything was dirty. My appointment was first thing in the morning and as you see in the pictures attached the trash had not been taken out in who knows how long. Front counter was very cluttered and unorganized. The doctor was not personable neither was the person at the front desk. The ladies in the section where you get your glasses were very helpful, very nice (even offered me chocolates) and made the experience of picking out my glasses much better than the exam. That area was much more cleaner. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location for future eye exams.

The optometrist office next to lenscrafters was by far the most disgusting, dirtiest, optometrist office I've ever been to... like ever!
Update: I have to edit this review to say that the optometrist after the appointment was very personable, but the office setting does leave much to be desired so I do stand by what I said above.
The store next to the optometrist was clean and everyone was very nice, welcoming and helpful from the time we walked in, chose glasses and left. They did have them finished within approximately an hour which was great, since my son suddenly broke his and we were headed out of town. We would definitely return.

The office is very dirty- from the front desk will mile high papers to the exam room. Cleanliness is not a priority and that is concerning in a healthcare setting . Looking back in the reviews as far as last year there were complaints of dirty office space. Looks like it has not been touched or improved. Hire a night time cleaner after a deep clean. retrain your team to put things away and clean and sanitize after use. I was tempted to leave prior to the exam. I was so shocked by the condition of the office. The Doctor was nice enough, said my overall eyes didn't change from my previous prescription. I paid 45.00 for the visit and went next door. The sales people at the glasses place are very personable and were helpful. I did not purchase glasses as I wasn't hoping to expedite an order since I had a broken pair. Since they couldn't expedite I chose not to rush the purchase. I'll check back when I have time and can get a family members second opinion.
