Vistar Children's Eye Center

After receiving a rather serious injury to my eye, the Doctor at Urgent Care referred me to Vistar. Upon arrival, the entire staff that I interacted with was extremely helpful and caring. The employee who checked me in and then filled in my paperwork for me (I did not get his name) was extremely friendly and went overboard in making sure I was comfortable until I could be seen. Dr. Jacob Likus was the Optometrist who saw me and I can't say enough good things about him. I would highly recommend this location for any eye problems you may have.

Dr. Facciani, has cared for son since he was a newborn, with blindness that left him only seeing some light. My son, is almost 4 years old now, with vision. I have a much older daughter that has never endured any medical issues. I was not prepared for the road my son has traveled since birth. He has been under the care of many doctors since he was a newborn. Most doctors, don't want to really take time to explain what medical science says is happening to your child. Does that make those doctors bad doctors? Absolutely not, but they don't stand out, and some you don't even remember their name. When, Dr Facciani, had to deliver the news to me that he knew as a mother would be devastating, he did it with care. It appeared to me, he takes his position very seriously and does everything with the care he would expect his family to receive if in the same or similar position. After, he told me my son was blind. I said, "My son will never see?" I will never forget this moment and I have shared this story more times than I can count in 4 years. He said, "I am sorry, but that is how it appears. BUT, I am not God. I can tell you what medical science says, but I can't say for sure what will happen." He then told me a story about early on in his career he was working under a doctor. A boy came in and needed glasses so he could play a sport in school. The boy wasn't supposed to ever be able to see, much less play a sport, but he was standing right in front of them several years later after his diagnosis. The doctor, he was working under told him, medical science can say one thing, but we aren't God! He said, "You can always hold onto hope, that this isn't forever!" That story and the compassion he showed me that day, is what got me through a lot of sad and difficult times. I did just that, I held onto hope and now my son can see. No he doesn't see the best and he has nystagmus, but he can see. I think, that's the miracle that everyone should have, but no one knows what the future holds, because doctors aren't God! A lot of things can't be explained in my sons case, that's fine, I am just happy he can see. I will forever be grateful to this doctor and the staff at this location. They have always been wonderful. I read a review someone waited many hours. I am sorry to hear that for her. In all the years and many visits, I have never waited that long not even close. I will always recommend this location, because of this doctor and the everlasting impact he has left on my son and I.

My daughter's family eye doctor referred her here to speak with Dr. Facciani about next steps for her lazy eye. Even though it took a few months to get in, that's expected with specialists. The check in process was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. Wait time in the lobby wasn't long. The tech we had was very nice and knowledgeable and really good with my daughter. Wait time to see the Dr wasn't long. Dr. Facciani was super nice and knowledgeable and explained things very well. We go back in February to see him and I'm looking forward to it. Highly recommend this practice!

Love Love Love this place!! After many different eye doctors the last few years, I can't say enough good about this place! Excellent staff, helpful and friendly! Welcoming to children, worked with child on their level to do eye exam, waiting room geared for children while eyes dilated, all positive. Highly highly recommend!!

This is the place I go to get my glasses and return to get them adjusted. Gina always makes sure the marks on the lenses match up with my eyes. She makes sure my glasses fit without causing pain.

Dr Facciani is the best. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time. He was great throughout my sons healing process and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!

Waited months for my child's appointment. My husband ended up being in the office for 3.5 HOURS with no explanation as to why it was taking so long. He had our three children with him and they quickly ran out of snacks due to the extensive wait time. Absolutely ridiculous. Who has 3.5 hours to go to an appointment? Luckily he did not have anywhere else to be, but this is so unprofessional.

I was very impressed with the whole process. I had a very short wait time when checking in. The Dr's assistant was very professional and the Dr was exceptional. My questions were answered completely. I highly recommend this facility.
