Dr Ramey and his staff was A1. They all were very friendly and polite. They talked me through the surgery, which made it easy. They didn't sugar coat anything about what too expect. I'll recommend any patient to that staff for sure.

I started at Vistar in 2015 when my eye Dr at the time referred me to Vistar to see Dr Cotter. He was a blessing. He and his staff at Vistar has always been kind and caring from the time you check in which he stays pretty busy and you might have a bit of a wait but not bad, until you check out.I have also had to see another specialist at Vistar Dr Ramey which I have sent him one time before but I had to make another appointment to see him and both times that I have he and his office staff has always be kind and courteous. From the time I check in everyone is very nice. Dr Ramey is so nice and cares about what's going on.

I was referred by my optometrist and his office set up my appointment. When I arrived at Vistar Eye Center in Roanoke, Va. I was registered and seen promptly. Everything was done in preparation for Dr. Ramey. This Ophthalmologist is awesome answering all my questions before I could even ask them, stated meds that would help my TED and the next day I was receiving calls from the coordinator to get my treatment started. I highly recommend This office and will continue going there for my eye care. It is well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive each way.

Dr Ramey is an exceptional occuloplastic surgeon treating thyroid eye disease. Both he and his staff are caring and professional. Highly recommend.

An unexpected event requiring emergency eye surgery lead me to Vistar Eye Center while traveling out of state. My experience with every staff member couldn't have been better. Dr Anna Machin and Dr Bryan Strelow were absolutely wonderful. Vistar was truly caring and compassionate from start to finish. Thank You to Vistar for the professional, compassionate and reassuring care!

I assisted a family member at this facility. Good experience overall except for Cathy the front desk person who was extremely rude to multiple patients. She seemed to lack social intelligence and an understanding of what was appropriate in a customer service environment particularly of a medical nature. She was very rude and uncaring in her attitude. I emphatically wouldn't have her as the first experience with my business. I would have given a much higher rating if not for her who ruined the experience.

The whole staff is amazing and very supportive

Had eye lid repair after surgery that removed cancer. The procedure took 1.5 hours. I was given the option of a general vs. local anesthesia. I chose local. Was given a sedative which left me totally relaxed. Appreciate the options. Dr. Ramey did a great job.
