Called and left a detailed message, now more than 1 week later NO return phone call. E-mailed a request for an appointment and also a week later no reply to the e-mail. Very poor customer service and apparently they could care less about a new patient.

This was my first visit to Halifax Eye Center! I had been a patient of Dr Haskett for over 20 years! I was not impressed with this facility! I had to wait 45 minutes before going back. Nurse who took me back never smiled or introduced herself. I had to ask her to turn on the lights so I could take out my contacts. She did the tests on my eyes. Dr Haskett always did this! She took me to another poorly lit room where I sat and waited ! Dr P finally came in. He was very nice but difficult to understand. The computer wouldn't work. Took a while for it to finally come on the screen! He is changing one of my contacts. I will try it for several weeks to make sure it works. The ladies in the optical center were very nice and helpful! I found out new prescription for contact is daily not monthly like other eye! Ladies at reception desk were very nice and helpful! After 2 hours I finally left! Sure wish Dr Haskett was back! Not impressed! Hope things improve by next year!

My appointment was at one o'clock but I didn't get out of there until 3:37pm! What took so long? Plus, I didn't even have a prescription change according to the doctor. So, I feel I just wasted my entire afternoon waiting. Everyone was really nice, though. The office is nice and very clean as well.
