Dr. Leigh is great- responsive, knowledgeable, and kind.
The Nova Center for Eye Care is incredibly difficult to work with otherwise. The regularly cancel appointments. It would take at least three scheduled appointments (some scheduled months out) for me to actually get in. They don't pick up their phone, including during business hours. Even getting my medicinal records sent to my new eye doctor took a month of four phone calls, four emails, $30, and an in-person visit before they finally handed me my records for me to give to my new doctor. It's not worth it.

First time visiting patient and I am impressed with this practice. We called them to schedule an appointment in the morning and got one on very day (which I honestly appreciated considering I needed an immediate attention). The appointment was with Dr. Julie f Leigh and I loved her absolutely. Very professional and straightforward and an active listener. The diagnostic was quick and she did not prescribe unnecessary medication.

I have had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Leto (at both the Tysons and the Fairfax offices.) He is extremely thorough. In a rarity in todays medical system, I feel that Dr. Leto and his staff give appropriate time to patients, focusing on on fully understand any problem and finding the correct diagnosis rather than churning through patients as fast as possible. I would highly recommend, especially for people with complex eye problems.

I had an appointment scheduled this morning. I was asked to provide my insurance card and ID. I had provided this information over the phone previously. I sat down to complete the paperwork that I was asked to complete and my insurance information was on this document as well. As I was signing the receptionist came over and told me that they did not accept my insurance. I asked why this information was not communicated to me before driving to the office on a Monday morning. No response. Poor customer service.

The doctors are very good and know what they are doing. Dr. Falls is just the best. HOWEVER ... if you want contacts, expect to be VERY frustrated because the person who does that is very unaccommodating and doesn't respond in the time frame you were told. And if you aren't available for the time that person tells you to come in, you will have to wait a long time and still have the same difficulty. I don't understand this - are they very part-time? It will take you MONTHS to get contacts. Our experience was the same as the person below regarding contacts. Otherwise I would have given the practice 5 stars.
