Last year I went to this office and the prescription wasn't right. I spent the whole year debating whether to go back but I'm glad I did because I've met Dr. Wang. He was running behind in his schedule, but it was worth the wait because he did an extremely thorough exam after learning the historical context of my previous year and he pretty much nailed my prescription. It's so nice to be able to see with my new glasses and my updated prescription from a year ago. I highly recommend him and I highly recommend Kasey who fitted me and completed my order for my new glasses right there on site. The front desk staff are really nice as well and so are the ladies who check you in for the doctor.

It had been since 2019 since I was last here at Coastal Vision. Upon my vision check and selecting my frames and shades for transitions a little over a week ago, I finally picked up my 2 pairs of prescription glasses and left with a big smile. Kasey was amazing throughout the whole "vision" process with me from the first day back.
Eyesight is a Beautiful thing!
I highly recommend Coastal Vision. Make sure you ask if they have any deals going with their frames. Thats how I was able to afford the actual frames I loved.

Exceptional Care When It Mattered Most
I recently experienced an eye emergency and, despite calling dozens of offices, I couldn't get an appointment anywhere. Dr. Lin and the team at Coastal Vision - Salem Crossing were the exception. They made time for me within a stunning 24 hours, and that alone speaks volumes.
Dr. Lin provided outstanding care. She conducted a thorough exam, explained everything clearly, and communicated next steps in a calm, confident, and reassuring way. I never felt rushed, and I felt genuinely cared for.
I am now their newest fan and cannot recommend Dr. Lin and Coastal Vision highly enough.

I just recently moved to Virginia Beach and I was looking for an amazing optometrist to go to and I don't think I could have chosen a better one. Their staff members and customer service are amazing overall, very efficiently.
Kasey was wonderful and very helpful when I went in to pick my glasses for myself. Also When i went to pick them up, it just so happens she was the one who helped me as well! I loved my glasses but overall the team they have!

I took my 8 year old here for a binocular exam. We saw Dr. Talamsian ( I know I misspelled. I apologize!) She was wonderful. Very thoughtful, thorough, and took her time explaining her findings, treatment plan and follow-up. I learned so much about my little guys eye health and needs. Thank you so much. This office has taken exceptional care of me and my family. We are a military family, so we strive for a good, professional team. My glasses broke and Kasey immediately took the initiative to help me with the new pair of glasses! She's so kind and courteous.
