Visionworks Lynnhaven Mall

This Visionworks is located in the Lynnhaven Mall. The closest entrance to get here is a direct entrance, but you can also come in through the Barnes and Noble Book Store too. Since this is located at the mall, parking can be hit or miss depending on when you come here. It wasn't too bad on my visits here. My visits were on May 27, 2025 (to look for glasses and such) and June 5, 2025 (to pick up glasses). I had never been to a Visionworks until this first visit as my prior coverage was through EyeMed, so they were not in network. Now I am on a VSP plan, so they are on that plan. I had looked around at several places at reviews and such to make a decision of where I would go, and this is where it led me. When I came in on the first visit, it wasn't busy, though I came in at a time when kids are still in school and such. I was immediately greeted by Iris and went over to table with her. The first part was going through the prescription and what was covered under my VSP plan. She also told me that there was an offer for 50% off a second pair of glasses after using insurance benefits. After that was completed, she gave me time to look at frames for my new glasses. There were so many options to choose from. I did find some good ones that were not too much more in cost than what was covered under the VSP plan. After that, she reminded me about 50% off a second pair, so I looked for prescription sunglasses too. I found some really good ones too, and they still work great today. After getting everything ordered, she said it could take up to two weeks for them to come in, though it would end up coming in sooner. For both pairs of glasses, my total cost was less than $500. A little over a week later, I got a notification that both pairs of glasses were ready for pickup. I came in on June 5, 2025, to try the glasses on, make sure they were right, and ultimately bring them with me. Iris was here on this day too, so I was able to work with her again for this last step in the process. She made the process smooth and easy. She also adjusted them to make sure they fit properly. They also have a 100- day guarantee, so if you don't like the glasses for some reason, you can come in and replace them with another one in that timeframe. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I have had at any place I have gone to for glasses. Iris was great to work with through the entire process. She was very transparent throughout and no stone was left unturned. The selection of frames for both the glasses and sunglasses was abundant. If you are looking for a place to get glasses, and Visionworks is in network for your vision benefits, this place is definitely worth going to.

Iris was absolutely amazing! She helped me pick a pair of frames that are different and frame my face nicely. I told her what I wanted and the first and only pair she picked up were the winners! I tried on others but the pair she chose were perfect! She also helped me wrangle my two toddlers so I could get my order in. She is exceptional in every way with customer service and her knowledge and ability to multitask! Also I have a big head and this store has the largest amount of wider frame glasses out of any in the 757, so many to choose from!

While store selection was slightly minimal compared to other stores, it was still a nice size store. I was able to get a pair of glasses that I'm happy with. Iris was the only associate and managed to get me in and out relatively quickly. She had a few people in front of me, but handled everything very well.

I love going to Visions Works! They're always friendly and affordable! The doctor was kind and explained all my vision need to me very clearly. When I ordered my lenses for my glasses, the tech was very knowledgeable! I'm definitely a customer for the long term!

Can't say enough great things about this vision works. Not only was the staff member Iris super professional but incredibly kind and helpful. Got my new frames and walked out feeling great. Yes it just eye wear but customer service like that is absolutely why ill only go to this place for my eye care needs.
