Great experience at MyEyeDr in Creekside. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the video eye appointment went smoothly. The doctor explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and wrote my prescription for glasses and contacts. Overall, really professional. Great selection of frames and cute office. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an eye exam, contact lenses and/or new glasses.

Needed to follow up on my recent exam here and fill my contact lense prescription. Olivia greeted me as did her co workers upon going in. Olivia priced checked different vendors to see if my insurance discount was the best option for me and got me on my way very quickly. Highly recommend this location for any vision needs.

This was my first encounter with this office. I ran out of my contact lens. I am a new patient. Even though they could not fit me in the same day appointment, the office manager was able to find me contact lens. They were also able to fix broken eye glasses even though I've never been in their office before, all for free. This was a great experience and I can't wait to go back for my official eye exam.

My eye exam itself was fine and I got my contacts. I wanted to get my sunglasses lenses repaired but because I had been in an accident and those glasses were in that car that was in the body shop I didn't have it. I asked the lady who was helping me if I could bring them back once I had my car back and she said yes it would be done no problem.... I go back a week later after work which is an hour away... and after an hour waiting I am told it is not possible to be seen to come back another day. I come back another day which this place is about 20 minutes from my house so still out of the way and I am again told I cannot be seems just to replace my lenses. The staff was great for an actual appointment but for anything not appointment wise I would suggest going some place else.

Incredibly rude and disrespectful. I can understand having an off day- but based on two separate negative experiences, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. In one instance, before ever pulling his insurance, a woman told him that he was wrong about a benefit that our insurance offers. When corrected, she ultimately agreed to check and found out that she was wrong and that the insurance we have DOES have the benefit we described but that she was unfamiliar. Admittedly, she said she was "sorry about that" and proceeded otherwise without incident. However, the following week I had an appointment and was contacted earlier in the day to advise that there was an issue running my insurance. When I asked what the issue was, Olivia stated it was an issue to where she could see that I have coverage, but could not determine what my actual benefits were due to an outage with the insurance's website AND could not reach them by phone. She said I may want to reschedule or that we could keep the appointment and I could do self-pay and be reimbursed by insurance. I would not consent to self pay and said I was going to call the insurance to see if it could be resolved. Olivia seemed disappointed and just said "ok". Prior to me mentioning reaching out to insurance, she seemed pleasant. I called and spoke with a representative from my insurance who graciously offered to call my eye doctor and see if she could resolve the issue. Again, she spoke with Olivia, who was rude short and unwilling to troubleshoot with her and to take the recommendation of contacting The company since it was an issue with the software they use and not with the insurance company. The representative said she seemed "unwilling". When calling to cancel the appointment, she asked if we wanted to reschedule which at that point I was uninterested in doing based on the experiences we'd had. My boyfriend explained that we were not going to reschedule because they had been rude on two different occasions. Rather than apologize, Olivia argued that she wasn't rude and when my boyfriend called out their "30 one star reviews" she chose to end the call.

Eye exams great! Frames: VERY expensive, so it's 4/5 stars. I still usually end up buying my glasses here; I am a sucker for the brands they keep on hand! I love Dr. Hester! She found an issue in my right retina and got me worked in the next week with a local retina specialist: turned out I had 2 holes in my retina and they had to be lasered shut/I have to be a retina specialist patient for life now. I'm very grateful she found the issue after I reported an increase in floaters and came in as soon as I could.

Erin did an AMAZING job with helping me with my prescription sunglasses. She went above and beyond by reaching out to my insurance and ensuring that my order was covered,- it saved me a significant amount of out of pocket costs!!! She is an excellent customer advocate, extremely knowledgeable, very personable and kind! I recommend anyone that wants their eye care experience to be second to none, to go to My Eye Dr. on 3051 Valley Ave in Winchester, Va and see Erin! Truly someone you can trust and has your best interest at heart!!! Thank you Erin for being simply AMAZING!!! #rockstar!
