I have been a patient of Dr. Kullas since he first opened his practice in Bellingham. He is patient, kind, and thorough. He answers all questions and concerns, explaining in as much detail as you need to totally understand. The only downside is he is very busy and, unless it is an emergency, it takes a while to get an appointment.

I began seeing Dr. Kullas 7 or 8 years ago when it became obvious I had symptoms of cataracts, which he resolved successfully via lens replacement. Since I have a family history of glaucoma and retinal detachment, I have continued with annual checkups to monitor eye health. Dr. Kullas gained my confidence with his knowledge and experience, keeping his eye on my eye pressure and peripheral vision, and answering my questions thoroughly. His staff is professional and friendly.
I heartily recommend him to anyone needing the care of an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Stonnell has been my go-to eye doctor for 9 years now, and does a fantastic job! The practice he works with - Bellingham Eye Physicians - has wonderful technology that has allowed him to track the health of my retinas with great precision. He has a wonderful chair-side manner, and both shares and thoroughly explains what the scans reveal and what that means for my vision. My glaucoma has shown almost no expansion in that time, which, of course, is fantastic, and I have complete trust in his skills and dedication to his patients. I highly recommend him and the business (my wife has been treated by another member of their team for cataracts, with a similar level of care and success)!
