The Everett Clinic Vision & Eye Center

I've been bringing my teenage son here for 5 years now, and we started out with an amazing g doctor, who has since retired. The new one has suggested some questionable treatment for my son. We recently needed new glasses and haven't had a chance to make it in this year. I tried having them utilize our u used benefit for the year and they refused, saying we needed to come in for a new checkup. We needed up finding glasses on Zenni.com, and will be finding a new doctor's office.

Been visiting this eye clinic for 10+ years, and have honestly never had a complaint. The prized jewels, though, are the women who help you order glasses. They are so fun and positive and do their best to let you try on anything and everything you want. They even give recommendations that they think match your vibe, and I have felt well cared for. They gave me compliments and helped me feel confident as I tried new shapes and colors of frames. They also do everything they can to get as much cost covered by insurance as possible. Truly felt like they cared about my confidence and my wallet.

They were able to make an appointment quickly, every staff member I interacted with was great, I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone

This place was a disappointment--overpriced and inefficient. Despite choosing it because they accepted my insurance, I ended up paying more than I would have elsewhere. Adding to the frustration, I arrived just 15 minutes late for my appointment, and Dr. Tom refused to see me, rescheduling me for 30 days later. When I returned for the rescheduled appointment, it was merely for a contact lenses fit check, yet I was kept waiting for an additional 30 minutes (making her time more important then mine). My advice: thoroughly research before choosing this place and proceed cautiously with any "recommendations" they are probably just trying to upsell

I went for an eye exam and Dr. Lee recommended vision therapy. I told him I couldn't do that right now as I am losing my insurance. He lectured me about the necessity of having medical insurance. I didn't have time to tell him at my appointment but I am losing my insurance because my dad died 3 days prior to my appointment. I felt terrible afterwards and I don't recommend going there. A few years prior I was told I probably had a cancer of the optic nerve with no additional testing. The everett clinic vision center does not take care to deal with highly emotional situations. Update- they didn't bill my insurance and tried to charge me over $500. I am officially done with them.

TL;DR Good initial visit, picking glasses here is a nightmare, changed prescription on contacts order without telling me. Went in for an eye exam which went well, I was seen by Dr. Walsh and she seemed to do a good job and was fairly thorough. I walked out and asked for help with picking out glasses and the lady that helped me was kind and patient. During the same visit they also ordered be a pair or trial contacts to see how they "fit". In total I left with an updated prescription in hand, glasses and contacts ordered. After that it all went downhill fast. Over a week later I received a call saying that the glasses I selected were on back-order (When I was initially looking for a pair, we found one that was specifically in stock because the pair I initially wanted were on back-order as well) and it would either be over a month to receive the glasses, or I could come back in and select a different pair. I went back in and the lady that helped me the second time was down right worthless. I feel bad saying that because it is a harsh thing to say to anyone, but she did not help at all. After looking for about 15 or so minutes for a good pair that I wanted, she said I couldn't get that brand with my insurance. So I looked for another pair, same story, insurance wouldn't allow it. So finally after asking what I could get she finally directed me to a section with about 20 pairs of glasses. I picked out a pair and left. After the whole glasses fiasco, I get a call saying my contacts are in. I go to pick them up, keeping in mind they were the same as my old prescription to see the fit. I try them on and the doctor looks at them and says they are not sitting right. So we could either have me come BACK in to have a separate 115 dollar contact fitting for a different brand, or she could try to adjust the current brand to match the prescription as best as she could. I opted to adjust the current brand. I go to pick up the contacts a week later to find out they they didn't adjust the prescription at all, but decided not to tell me. The only reason they get two stars is because they did end up ordering the correct contacts without charging me. But regardless, terrible experience.

my wife broke an arm on her glasses, we were told they might have to order a new one, were told soonest would be Thursday, she brought her glasses in on Monday to drop off, and they refused to accept them. We thought that would be convenient for both of us and maybe they could order the arm in the meantime. They could have just taken them in an envelope with her name, now we have to come in Thursday and wait for who knows long while they order the arm. She is old and handicapped, is this rude or what.

I got new glasses here and was assisted by Galina. She was very patient with me. I tried on many different pairs and never felt rushed or pressured to make my decision. I had interactions with several other staff and found them all friendly and helpful. I will definitely come here in the future.
