Vision Plus Ferndale

I usually get my glasses at Vision Plus in Lynden, but after a bad interaction with the Lynden Manager, I decided to visit Ferndale for my glasses this year. The customer service in Ferndale is leaps and bounds better than anything I've ever received in Lynden. I worked with Jessica and she did a phenomenal job making sure I got the frame and lenses I want! She really went above and beyond for me. She is very professional and cares very much about the customer experience and it really shows in her work. She made me feel welcomed and I will be returning to Ferndale in the future for all of my glasses. I highly recommend Vision Plus in Ferndale.

Was seeing better than 20/20 through a reading prescription that had "expired" a couple months earlier (they still started the order in spite of that; got it a year ago) and had to cancel a $400 lens order because I didn't have a "current" prescription (for something you can buy at a drugstore for $10 - readers) Also, they had a hard time understanding the idea of pushing a charge back onto a credit card. They wanted to issue a "check" for a refund. I had to "check" the calendar to make sure we weren't back in 1970 somehow. At least they were super polite in turning down business.

My experience here was quite an amazing one. I dealt with Jill who was extremely comprehensive with her assistance and made sure that the two pairs I bought were perfect. I also worked with Sara upon pick up and she was courteous, kind and extremely helpful with make sure the fit was right before walking out. I highly recommend 10/10 and will be continuing to have my eye glass care serviced here

They do not take state insurance for adults to get glasses! Staff was not helpful at all in regards to this!

It is not an underestimate for me too say I love the folks who work at Vision plus! Wednesday in the middle of my work day I broke my frames. I walked in cold at lunch time and was greeted with smiles. When I showed them my glasses they immediately understood my pain. Without my glasses I am useless at work. I am also uninsured and don't have a lot of extra $$. They took my broken glasses, with unusually shaped lenses, to try to fit then into a "frame from the back" , a long shot at best . I had bought some generic glasses next door so I could get through the afternoon at work. In less than 20 minutes they called and "said the had found a very nice frame, that was super affordable, and they thought I would like it, did I want to come see it before they put my frames in it? I told them that if they thought I would like it, to just do it and I would be in as soon as I could to pick them up. And I love them, they are ones I would have picked for myself. Talk about caring service!! They so easily could have just said oh that's bad you need to pick out some new expensive frames. It was not my first time there and every time I go there the service is just like this. Love you guys, hope the boss reads this. The people on the front lines make or break a business!

Yet another soulless uncaring bureaucratic business. I'm one of those blind types that needs glasses to see, so when my current glasses started to deteriorate I went into vision plus to have a new pair made before it became an emergency. When I brought my new frame's to the desk, I was told my current prescription was expired, when I inquired about an appointment I was told I'd have to wait a month. I then told the receptionist It didn't matter if the prescription was out of date, I just needed a spare pair of glasses. She informed me there was nothing she could since it's expired, but once I got a new prescription elsewhere I could come back to purchase the frames from then. I won't be back, from now on I'll do my glasses shopping online, and I recommend you do the same. This way if you can't be helped, you can take solace in the fact it's coming from a computer, instead of a person who simply can't be asked.

I have been with Vision Plus in Ferndale since 2015, love them! Would definitely recommend. I pay out of pocket for my contacts/glasses prescription every 2 years and contacts on a normal basis, their prices are reasonable. Dr. Walker is amazing, and so is the staff. Check them out!

Ordered my new glasses, was told they'd contact me within 2 to 3 weeks when they came in. Just got call this morning, six weeks after I ordered them. Went in immediately to pick them up....the bi-focal part of the glasses were placed on the glasses WRONG. The woman helping me took no responsibility, no apology to me. I feel I will most likely have to wait another six weeks, extremely disappointed, always had good customer service in the past.
