Called the office on speaker phone with my mom in the room listening and they said I've had 12 appointments over the last so many years and have no showed 4 times. FOUR! I have agoraphobia (meaning it's overwhelmingly hard to leave the house half the time), severe social anxiety, PTSD and major depression. I also have sjogrens syndrome and vasculitis causing me to not be able to walk and get around (I ride the bus to appointments) unexpectedly out of the blue(with absolutely no warning). All of these things affect my day to day life in so many ways. Over the last few years I have been working on getting on the right medications which have made me tired/anxious/suicidal etc. and it's been ridiculously hard to communicate at times and follow through with things. I have been doing a lot better about it with the meds I'm on and tried to schedule an appointment last month the lady named Jessica scheduled it and warned me that if I miss it I won't be able to get in again, but she was very rude and argumentative/confrontational about it. My kids and I got sick and were puking and had the runs, we were up ALL night dealing with this crap and I completely spaced calling to cancel. I got overwhelmed when I realized and was nervous to even call because of my SEVERE SOCIAL ANXIETY AND PTSD that I didn't call. I'm feeling better mentally and tried to call today to make an appointment and a nice lady answered and was about to schedule when JESSICA got on and AGAIN was very unprofessional, argumentative and confrontational about it. Making me want to just shut down so I asked to speak with someone else. DR WAYMAN got on the phone and was just as rude even after I explained my personal issues and that I apologize for not being great at communicating as I know I should've been. My medical covers my glasses there 100% and always has, and he was sitting there telling me I have always paid for them and that's not true. He was just as UNPROFESSIONAL as JESSICA was and I don't appreciate it. Please don't go here. It's honestly messed with my mental health even more just calling to try to get something resolved. I cannot believe they honestly have people working there who act like that.

They are amazing. I have trusted Dr. Wayman and his staff with my eyes, for many years. Everyone is friendly and compassionate; and, they are always willing to do what they can, in emergency situations. Regular appointments are not a hassle to schedule; and, I they have never kept me waiting passed my appointment time. They are all so good with my kids, as well. Very professional and highly recommended.

Saturday and evenings by appointment only. Yes indeed this business helps people have better vision, a magnificent gift.
