I don't usually post reviews but I had to applaud these folks. The doctors have been amazing with my daughter but what I really appreciated was that I showed up after closing and Karen came back in to get my daughter's contacts. I am very grateful and I owe her a coffee or 2. Thank you for an excellent experience and service!!

This was my first experience at hoquiam vision, they are merging with my eye doctor who I've seen for 25+ years. It was beyond disappointing, I only went in to pick up my contacts. The receptionist (dark long hair) was extremely rude. She told me I owed $30 (fine but wasn't expecting it) when I questioned why I owed $30 she said it was my insurance but wouldnt provide an itemized bill. I said it would have been nice to know about the charge and she said to take it up with the person who ordered my contacts. She became aggressive while being questioned. Once my eye doctor retire completely I will not be seeing anyone at hoquiam vision. I really hope someone reads these reviews because I'm not the only one who has had an unsavory experience with reception.

My SO and I were scheduled for the same day, December 31, 2024, an hour apart. When we got there he tried to check in and told the receptionist he had an appointment, she responded with "You do?". That set the tone, which went downhill from there. Both of us were treated extremely rudely, apparently because they wanted to close at noon. Poor appointment setting management on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on our part. We were both rushed picking frames. Less than a week ago I went to pick up my glasses, no fitting was offered and again I was treated rudely (as well as the two people that were with me), all other places where I've purchased glasses whether through insurance or cash have always checked fit and function before I leave. Not here. As of today, these glasses are now broken, the frame is cheap and one of the earpieces fell off in my hands as I set them down to wash my face (the screw didn't fall out, the hinge came unmounted from the rest of the frame). I need these glasses to see and drive! I now have to attempt to fix them myself as I have been treated so badly by these people I really don't want to go back there and expose myself to more rude mistreatment, let alone have to ask for a ride from a friend and subject them to the same rudeness! These are the people supposedly taking over the Westport office! I live in Westport, if this is how they are going to treat the folks here then I absolutely cannot recommend them and highly suggest you take your insurance or cash dollars somewhere else! Thanks for the ripoff job.

Disappointing would be an understatement it's not even the right word. The staff is rude and unwilling to help or make adjustments to the low quality product. I've been ripped off by $120 my eyeglasses were supposed to be scratch resistant and already look like they're 2 years old. I paid cash for my glasses like everyone and do not understand why I've been treated so rudely and wish I would have never went there.

I am very disappointed with one of their receptionist. SHE IS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She doesn't know what a work ethic means. I have to go there because the contact lens that the doctors prescribed me doesn't work for me, so I had to come back couple times and travel 15 mins every time to go back to their office. It's an inconvenience, but I made it work to come and get the right fit for me but I don't want to go back there anymore.Receptionists should be professional since they are the first person in contact in the office. But she does not have good communication skills. I like Susan a lot she is very friendly and very nice. She has a professional work ethic. I hate to go, but I can't stand the other receptionist. She makes me angry. VERY RUDE!

Absolutely phenomenal crew here at Hoquiam Vision! I've known the Wayman's most of my life and all of their employees are so kind and helpful. I appreciate the advanced technology they have to help speed up the appointments. Jeff, Joseph, and Ed are definitely worth the drive to Hoquiam!

I traveled from Spokane to the ocean for the week and forgot my daily contact lenses and glasses in my overnight bag at home. This team was incredibly helpful and gracious in providing me with some disposable trial contacts to get me through the week. If I lived here, I would definitely become a patient here. Thank you!

Had an exam, arranged for and paid for new glasses with glass lenses. Told twice it would be two weeks, 6 weeks later they are finally done. Made an appointment for Friday, April 23, to pick them up. Got there, I was told they were sent to the Ocean shores office. Got to that office, they are closed on Fridays. Now I have to wait until next week. Organization resembles a soup sandwich. Don't bother buying glasses from them.
